North American Groupfighting League
Introduction
The North American Groupfighting League is a continuous league with multiple seasons planned over the course of a year, each season is intended to last one month and be held on a bi-monthly basis, until the summer which will be a longer season. The league will also host various weekly tournaments during the off-months for any interested. The goal of the league is to provide continuous competitive events within the NA community.

If anyone wishes to update their application to Captain, you will be considered as a possible replacement, in the event that one of the previous captains do not return.
As a note to the Captains from last season..if you just ignore the captain invite I will assume you do not have an interest in returning and drop you from the league, you will not just be moved to the player pool.
If a Captain from last season does not wish to return as a Captain, they must find a suitable replacement to take their place and get them approved before their resignation will be accepted.
If there are not enough Captains or acceptable replacements by Saturday/Sunday the new season won't be happening.

I don't know about other people but when it said default I assumed that if the match wasn't done by then it would be void for whoever didn't show up. I wouldn't be on for new years weekend so wanted to get this out of the way.

Yeah, but that's exactly the difference. It's the day that's used if a Captain doesn't want to schedule, it's not a day the Captains are forced to use.
So if the tear droppers don't want to play New Years weekend, just ask your captains to schedule on a different day instead of crying on the thread.
