"A BELIEVING HEART IS YOUR MAGIC"
Lord Byron

It was 15th of november, a date burdened heavily with the anniversary of the opening of Saint Petersburg's first metro line. On this fateful day, the 8th King's Royal Hussars stood on the battleground and asked themselves: is our metro line to station "VICTORY" ready yet? Have we dug enough tunnels through our incompetence?!?!?!? Do we have enough tools to penetrate the solid rock of 4e's sheer superiority?!!?!?!?

It was 15th of november, a date burdened heavily with the anniversary of Thailand's first democratic elections. On this fateful day, the 8th King's Royal Hussars stood on the battleground and asked themselves: are we united enough to vote unanimously for a proud, daring and victorious 8th?!?!!?!?

It was 15th of november, a date burdened heavily with the anniversary of Christopher Columbus making first known mention of tabacco in his traveling log. On this fateful day, the 8th King's Royal Hussars stood on the battleground and asked themselves: ¿Quieres? No... mejor no.

These questions are now answered for the whole world to see. But deep in our gizzards, WE knew the answers long before that day. And if we doubted, the stern but loving voices of Captain Stannis and Adjective Cage whispered to our ears words of assurement. A thundering voice echoing from Austrian mountains reached us wherever we went, crying: LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO(...) And we came. It was a long journey. We broke through the last bastion of French glory, the 6e. We shattered and scattered away the rusty steel of Cuirassiers Brigade. With aching hearts, we slaughtered our British brothers from 33rd. We walked all over Prussian ideals and discipline of 2. Leibregiment (we still need to clean our boots after that one). We adopted and grazed Kazi's goats in the Alps after we killed him along with the rest of 1er. We spent many sleepless nights in our field camp, waiting for Nr. 10 to strike, then went on regenerating holiday trip with 5to and slept with them under a palm tree. We almost broke our teeth on Nr. 4, but emerged victorious to face the 4e, destined to be the final obstacle crushed by our impetuous ride to victory and they were ez lmao get rekt. It took all our collective passion and determination to comeback after initial 0:2 disadvantage, caused by grave mistakes committed by Cornet Andors who foolishly misread ancient norse runes which contained prophecies about this long foretold match. He never got the readings right - not being a native speaker - and we were forced to rely on nothing but our guts, charging and pushing our enemy as if there was no tomorrow. We are thankful for those precious moments when, united by shared ambition and team spirit, we felt like a true, dysfunctional family. Our heartful thanks and a thousand huggies wuggies to those of you who made it possible by playing the role of our neighbours, the other participating regiments, and the social welfare officials, people who hosted this wholesome tournament. All the league battles were full of HONOUR. We look forward to CROSSING SWORDS with you all again. It's always a pleasure to fight against such SKILLED AND PRESTIGEOUS opponents... but as for now, kneel and bow to our awesomeness, whippersnappers, for a lot of water will yet have to flow through the River Thames before you will be able to challange THE CHAMPIONS.

Who are these champions? None could hope to count all the qualities and valiant deeds of those mighty heroes, but to those immortal titans, we erect this triumphal post:

put anyone caught using scripts in tier 6  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

shoulda thought twice before you looked at my hp feezy

Some people will go down the history of NW and be remembered for winning competitions, others for creating and leading regiments. Some for being memelords, others for hosting and organizing stuff. Some for simply being good players and good mates.

And then, there's Feezy.

Tom already has solid reputation for being concerned with staffs.

So the 15vs15 rule is going down in flames, such a shame, we were THIS close to overshadowing the epic scope of Eylau with the magnitude of our massive cavalry clashes.

Quinn achieving great things in his backyard:

Btw, anything Nr. 6 might have achieved was thanks to Peradius so it doesn't count as German achievement anyway.

Againg talking about unidentified "heavies" and generalizing. "Heavies" are the new "jews" and "freemasons". Who are they exactly, nobody knows.

Kindly acknowledge that there are different players, teams and regiments within that group and many of them never did anything to deserve reputation for delaying and being passive, unlike some players who play exclusively hussars. Nobody had to complain about 3-4h matches in last CNC, when Poland was participating as cuirassiers, just like they are supposed to do now (check out the recordings if you can't take my word for it). Some of the worst aspects of heavy playstyle were exaggerated recently by the confused amateurs from CB, true, but stop acting like that's all there ever was to it. This twisted way of thinking leads you to lash out on a team that doesn't even exist yet, if that is not ridiculous then I don't know what is. Once the team is out there, feel free to hate and criticise it for whatever reason you might find, but address it on it's own merit and not as a part of the punching bag that the vague word "heavies" has been turned into.

Another fun idea might be a BATTLE OF TIERS. A small gf between Tiers 1 & 2, full scale 1v1 between the most numerous middle Tiers, 3 & 4. Though this would require too many players to accept the tier they were put in and come to play without sulking. Not sure if this could happen. If it would, however, it would verify both the players AND the ratings/list itself.
Though it'd be fun, I don't think it will prove nor reflect anything. A singular battle where the factors are way off from a normal reg 1v1, is not what the list is based on.

On the contrary, it would prove something essential. We know that the ratings are not absolute, perfect, flawless and so on, but even if they are just vaguely right, in a "more or less" kind of way, there should still be a huge skill gap amassed between neighbouring tiers. So even if the ratings have just a general tendence to be right rather than flawless accuracy in being so, it should still be reflected clearly in score of such match by a decisive win of the upper tier. In short, it would prove whether the list has a solid substance to it or if it's pure BS.

Besides, it would be entertaining to see how some people would enter their ultimate try-hard modes in such an event to prove that they stand out from their tier.

Verbrennen sollte man die Hunde, die uns so schändlich hintergehn. Erst geköpft, dann gehangen, dann gespiesst auf heisse Stangen; dann verbrannt, dann gebunden und getaucht, zuletzt geschunden.
