The Hannoversche Jäger-Bataillon No. 10 is proud to present it´s new Wednesday Linebattle Event. We are offering a different linebattle experience including a unique ruleset and for now with no Cav. Most linebattles which are taking place for many months do have a similliar format. This linebattle event is also very friendly toward smaller units of line-infantry. The event will take on every Wednesday It will be will start at 19:00 GMT (20:00 GMT+1) Sign ups will be made on this forum. If you signed in and can´t take part in our event please inform an admin via steam. General Ruleset:
- Behave yourself
- Please keep the chat nice and friendly.
- Musicians and Flag Bearers are allowed and welcomed.
- No officer aim (OA).
- No Fire in Charge (FiC).
- No Reloading in Charge (RiC).
- Dont spam the chat.
- If someone is firing in charge, or shoots your officer down, also write down the players name to help our admins! (E.g. FiC/OA 10th_JBH_Pleb)
- With 3 men or less, join a friendly Unit.
- "Allcharge" means No shooting and go into melee
- While fighting in houses, FiC, RiC and FooF is allowed for every unit.
- The admin decides, when starting a map with houses, wich areas counts as house. (Whether only the house itself or also the forecourt or the hole settlement).
- Only officers are to use general chat
- Only english or german in the general chat
- Obey the admins!
|Class-specific Ruleset|
Line Infantry Line-Infantry:- Minimum size of 6, Maximum size of 30.
- Has to move and fire in formation
- Kneeling is forbidden (except for the first rank in double lines)
Light Infantry Light Infantry:- Minimum size of 5, Maximum size of 15.
- May move and fire in light formation (max. two man distance).
- May kneel.
Rifles Rifles:- Minimum size of 5, Maximum size of 15.
- May move and fire in free formation (max. four man distance).
- May kneel.
Artillery Artillery:- Minimum size of 4, Maximum size of 12 including Guard .
- May have two cannon pieces per unit/regiment.
- May have two sapper per unit/regiment.(no bug-building with planks and no TnT spawn)
- May Officer aim
- 80 Builpoints per team are allowed[/il]
Artillery Guard: Artillery guards are defenders and apply the rules of light infantry

Greetings Community.
Our last LineBattle Event has been a blast!
With 88 versus 93 Players we were enjoying this unique LineBattle Event very much on one of our many available custom maps. Due to this high number of Players we have decided to Change our ruleset beforehand in order to present an even greater LineBattle experience.
From now on there will always be 2 skirmishers and 2 artillery-units per Team. However the amount of skirmishers per unit now is 10 men. Therefore also Line-Infantry, which we wanted to make stronger due to our ruleset, still has got a visible Chance to set the course for victory.
Now it is like rock-papers-scissors, cavalry beats skirms, skirms beat, line-infantry beats artillery. Surely it comes down to the unique regiments powers but our ruleset sets it up to make Teamwork and Tactics much more important. And thanks to our Close Combat Ruleset the LineBattle is very dynamic at all times! CC-Rules by the way were enabeld on three hotspots, two wheatfields and one Lumberjack-hideout. This was called very original and we are thankful this Event turned out so well.

Change in Rules!
Due to balancing issues, we decided to have less rifles and lights in our event.
First two rounds, there are light infantry regiments playing their role as light. In this rounds, rifle units are playing line infantry.
Next two rounds, they switch, so that lights are playing line and rifles are playing their rifles.
Example:
Round 1 and 2:
Team1: Line, Line, Lights, Arty
Team2: Line, Line, Lights, Arty
Round 3 and 4:
Team1: Line, Line, Rifles, Arty
Team2: Line, Line, Rifles, Arty
If we have more Lines in our event, we get back to the normal system we had before, but now we try this new thing.
