In 1751, after the numeric system was implemented in the British Army, Sir Clifton's regiment was named 15th Regiment of Foot. 30 years later the regiment was renamed once again to the 15th (the Yorkshire East Riding) Regiment of Foot, or the common version: 15th Yorkshire Regiment. About us The 15th_YR started off in the early days of NW as a German speaking regiment. However, on the 8th of June of 2014 the 15th_YR made the switch into an  International Regiment. From that moment on our regiment has featured a well organized structure with many veterans and experienced players. During the following years the 15th went through quite a successful period under various leaders such as Falk, Connimir and Marley, where multiple tournaments including an NWL and RGL were won by the regiment. In the early summer of 2017 the regiment was disbanded for a brief period. That same year,  on the 5th of December 2017, the regiment was reformed once again. This time with Gi, Melsyo and Moussolini at the helm. In the following years, the regiment has kept growing in both skill and renown, achieving varying levels of success in regimental tournaments such as RGL,NWL, EIC and RGT. Currently, the 15th_YR is the most decorated European regiment to ever exist, achieving 15 gold medals across regimental tournaments ranging from NWL, RGL, RGT to NWBC and the 2v2. The 15th's main objective is to have our members work together as a regiment. Therefore, teamwork, communication, leadership and a general willingness from all our members to listen and learn are key. We further attempt to achieve this by helping newer players develop their own play-style and by teaching them to apply this play-style to our existing members. Being good at melee is not a prerequisite to join the 15th, instead we value loyalty and a positive contribution to the general atmosphere of the regiment. In the 15th everyone's opinion is taken seriously and everyone is treated in a fair way. Over the years, we have created a community within the 15th that plays games outside of NW together and even does the occasional drinking night on discord. Additionally, veterans of the regiment get the chance to participate in tournaments together through the "Snappers" and "Crappers" groupfighting teams.
