I think they meant the community side of the War of 1812 mod. It sort of died out after a couple weeks, but it is still being worked on.

1812 is getting alot of cool things from what Navy has shown me. I think due to the time period of this mod people will always return to it whether it be to kill Loyalists or Rebels. The Skins/Uniforms are going to be completely remade for the final launch as now they look like lower res NW ones. Keep an eye out as i'm close to finishing one.

1812 has some hiccups in very early development but it is ultimately up to the community what mods they want to play, if any. War of 1812 is not dead however. Let's keep the thread on-topic though.
