Well we either perceive this game differently or something larger is at play.

But even if the change is minimal, its implication for the melee is huge. Pro players crutch in minisecond differences in timing. You should know that, considering you are one of the top players lol

I honestly don't see much difference I agree with fwuffy, I think the fastest speed has made everything faster as it says but in terms of timings its all the same, its a relative time difference. Blocks, attacks, chambers, everything have increased relative to each other in speed so yeah people can attack faster but you also block faster :/ vice versa

There is definitely a difference. I personally prefer medium, because there seems to be way more spamming on fastest. Im fine with both as long as we make a full switch, it'll just take some time to get used to it

I think Golden captured a big part of it, the relative timings are the same in the fundamental parts of melee. It is just that the whole scale of the melee is slightly sped up but the minor details that interwork are no different. We are talking millisecond differences here in terms of faster reaction time but everything else is the same. Obviously fastest means a greater speed, there's nobody denying that.
