PC Crashes
« on: March 20, 2013, 07:23:43 pm »
Hey all.

So I am having this problem where NW makes my pc crash either when I'm ingame or right after I left the game.

Any ideas?

Verify game cache(if you're using Steam)?
Start in compatibility mode?
Run as administrator?

Perhaps try deleting the local content and reinstalling the game. Other option would be to, as already mentioned, verify your game cache. Can't think of anything else. Sorry.  :'(

Already been verifing the game cache many times so it can't be it. But I'll try and run it in admin mode and such.

I hope you get this fixed man, does not seem fun crashing when playing your favorite games.

before lauching the game, on the first pop up go into configure and make everything basic or run in low mode, or you could try running in windowed mode see if that helps
I'll always be sympathetic to your plight, Rackio. Probably not enough to act, but enough to care.

This is happening to me now.. Tried everything listed in this thread: Reinstalled, verified, putting it on lowest graphics, windowed mode. It only happens on NW, I have been playing Fallout, ETW, and loads of other games without any problem.

If anyone knows a solution, I would be very gratefull.

EDIT: Nvm guys, just removed some dust from my ventilators. It was overheating! D:

My plan is to crowdsource a plan.

Maybe something to do with directx7/9? Maybe tabbing out randomly then immediately loading back and crashing?
