Hello everyone! The 4thRID is happy to bring you our Thursday Siege/Line Battle Event! This event Will be hosted every Thursday at 8pm Eastern Standered Time(EST). The event will consist of 1 siege map using either a Custom made map made by members of the 4thRID and anyone else that might want to donate maps or a premade siege map. After each team has had a chance to attack and defend the fort/castle/city we will switch over to battle and then Continue the event with a line battle. The Line Battle will be one or two maps (All regiment leaders will vote on it before event) and each map will have 3 Rounds each. After The siege and Line Battle part of the event is over, We will have a fun round for any regiments that wish to stay for it.
REMINDER: I WILL NOT hunt you down and get you on the teamspeak for you to get the info. It is up to you to show
up 45 minutes before the event starts to vote on things and get the Info. When you join the teamspeak please
make sure to have your Regiment name before or after your name.
EVENT RULESRegiment Leaders are expected to follow and enforce these rules. If you have any questions about these Rules,Please Add

LINE BATTLE RULESPLEASE remember to follow these rules during the line battle portion of the event
(Cav will go as Line during the siege portion of the event)No Fol But Foc is allowed.
Do not Rambo.
Keep outside disagreements outside of the event.
If a Regiment get's below 3 members they must join another Line.
Do not delay the round.
No crouching is allowed unless you are skirms/lights.
when there is 5 or less players on one team there will be no rules
A breach in any of the rules will be followed by a slay, a second offense will be met with a kick, and a third will be met with a temp ban.
LINE RULESMinimum of: 5 max of: No max
Must join line if the line falls under 3 members
Fol is not allowed but Foc is allowed
No crouching unless you use double ranks or you are not in combat
Max of half spacing between players
Max of two musicians/flag bearers
Max of two Officers per a line
Firing in anti-cav formation is allowed as long as members are shoulder to shoulder
CAVALRY RULESMinimum of: 5 Max of: 16
Dragoons are not allowed
Max of 1 musician/Flag bearer
If dismounted, must pick up a musket and join a friendly line
May send 1 member to scout as long as they do not engage in combat of any sort
SKIRMISHERS/LIGHTSMinimum of: 5 Max of:14
Max of 5 man spacing
Max of 3 man if Lights
If one nation does not have rifles both teams will be required to use light infantry, this will be discussed in Teamspeak before the event.
If the Regiment engages in melee combat all members of the regiment must cease fire and may not reload.
Remember that the rule still applies that once below 3 men the remaining members of the regiment must join a friendly line.
ARTILLERYMust have at least 6 attendance.
Artillery is not required to join a friendly line once below the size of 3.
Maximum Artillery Guard allowed is 10.
Maximum of 2 Cannons.
No Howitzers or Mortars may be used.
Artillery Guard may FOL if within the Artillery Battery perimeter.
SIEGE RULESPLEASE remember to follow these rules during the Siege portion of the event
(Cav will go line During this portion of the event)Please be courteous to other regiments and avoid fights through chat
Defenders do not leave the fort.
Don't hop over walls as defenders.
5 cannons FOR DEFENDERS, 3 for ATTACKERS. Mortars will depend on map
Stay with your units
LINE RULESMust have at least a line of 7 to leave spawn.
Light infantry is not counted as line but guard infantry is.
may take cover
ARTILLERY RULES11 men MAX (Does not include sapper's), may operate up to 3 pieces for attackers(mortars & howitzers can only be used if stated)
Pieces are of decision of the regiment
Crew may pick up weapons and use them at will
Max of 10 total troops for Arty Guard
SKIRMISHERS AND LIGHTSMax of 14 Men(officers and musicians included)
Muskettoons are not options for weapons
Max spacing of 5 for skirms and 3 for lights
SAPPER RULESArtillery May have 2 sappers each
Defending line will have a chance to have a sapper(will be voted on before event)
Build points will be given depending on the amount of players in the game.
Earth mounds may not leave the ground.
Do not waste build points on building sapper towers into the sky(will result in slay and or temp ban)
You are allowed to block off open area's with plank's but do not build a tower more than 15 planks high
NO TNT ALLOWED(Will result in a temp ban)
