Idk i think Disney learned their lesson with TLJ hopefully. Solo was really good so i think they will do everything they can to make sure future movies are something majority of fans will enjoy.

and on the subject of the Mandalorian, I have hopes that it will be something like GoT in terms of dramatic story telling since it's Jon Favreau but at this point I'm so used to being let down by Star Wars that I just don't think it will happen. It will probably end up being some gay black chick as the main protagonist who also learns to use the force because feminism!

They're not even particularly good writers just look at the last few seasons of Game of Thrones, they're just good at adapting books into screenplay.
