Seems my time with NW has come to an abrupt end. 9 years of cancer, laughs, old friends, new friends and enemies I’d like to thank you all for the entertainment and memories you have all given me since I started playing this game and il try my best to keep in touch. I feel there is no better place to put my farewell message then on the 17e page. A regiment that grew very close to my heart after the 91st disbanded. I can’t thank you all enough for the enjoyment you guys have given me over the years of leading you and it was truly my pleasure. With an awesome owner, commanding officers, ncos and rankers that I hope I never lose contact with completely because I see most of you as really good friends even though we met in some cringy napoleonic game  . Without a doubt Jammo you have become one of my closest friends within and outside this game, since the very beginning when we met the chats we had were straight forward but fun soon after you joined the 17e, immediately becoming a keystone within our community.
It didn’t take to long for me to eventually realize the tremendous potential you had as a leader which was not only for your amazing experience as a line CO with strong tactics on the field but also the ability to get people feeling welcome in our community and being a friend to most!
Without you among many others in the 17e, I would not have been able to make such an amazing regiment.
I thank you for putting so much time and effort into the 17e and the time and effort to help build a strong friendly community of friends outside of NW.
We both know we will stay in contact regardless of you or me not playing the game but it doesn’t take away the fact that I feel the need to make this post simply because you are such a big lad and are without any doubts in title to such a farewell

In all seriousness cheers Pieter haha. I was blown away by how many people instantly accepted me as 2ic in 17e and if not straight away it didnt take much time. The regiment truly taught me after playing so seriously for years, for group fights and being 91st 2nd command. That you can still win shit without fucking hating everything around you haha, and even though we did get serious from time to time it always eventually got turned into banter once we’d done our part. I think thats the misconception with 17e is that there was no room for messing around and having fun.
