No, because of their ridiculous choice of headgear for their modern dress uniform.

That's like not adding the zouaves because they look like santa's little helpers lol.

Modern military drill is not the same as say hardee's manual, nor should it be when you have rifles like the garand, L85, m14, etc. instead of muskets lol.

What do modern uniforms and drill have anything to do with the units in-game, might as well not add the Union since the army adopted the god awful ASU lol and brought back the pinks and greens.

complete waste of money since now they have 2 dress uniforms and not a functional but still formal working dress in inventory.

The strap is supposed to rest on the chin btw. [goes back to before the civil war, for west point]

I think you guys are taking Nico's argument a little too serious. I'm guessing the biggest reason they won't be in the game is because they, like I said, were in just one battle as an undersized batallion. Their uniform was nothing special in the field anyway.

Not being able to properly wear a shako is just an extra reason to keep them out. The strap is supposed to go UNDER THE CHIN where it has ACTUAL USE keeping the shako in its place. Otherwise, it serves no purpose and should be removed or folded up, like the French do.

I was joking... Did no one notice? :P

We still probably won't add them for quite some time, but I really can not tell tbh. We will see.

I don't mind if they're delayed obviously as they're quite minor in the grand scheme of things. It would just be nice to see is all considering how sentimental they are to me as a unit. I might've been planning to make a regiment for BCoF as well. Depends how my life pans out by then.

Lets clarify. American Zouaves make no sense, but French Zouaves are pretty cool. And the ones that directly adopted French uniforms are therefore also pretty cool. They are absolutely overreprsented in reenactment though and usually trash.
