I know it's part of Scandinavia, but what is your opinion, some of the Swedes think Finland can't be part of Scandinavia, unless they would join under Sweden's flag ;D
-
Finland is part of the nordics. However, Finland isn't part of scandinavia.
-
They don't speak the same type of language as Sweden, Denmark and Norway. A swede can go to Norway or Denmark and easily understand the language (maybe not so much Denmark since it sound like they have their mouths full of porridge) and vice versa, however it's not the same with Finland since they have a completly different language type.
Finland is like a no mans land between scandinavia and Russia.
-
Not to mention how much better it's than Sweden <3. But no it's not part of Scandinavia. You damn viking fascists.

You're all just to drunk to understand us ;)
-
Considering the variation of alcohol prices the far more likely reason is that you are all too drunk to speak properly.
-
Scandinavia is named after the mountain-range between Sweden and Norway, so no Finland is not part of it. We're one of the Nordics though, Estonia can't even claim that.

Estonia has a great nordic heritage. (Smörgåstårta) They should be able to

"In 1631, the Swedish king Gustaf II Adolf forced the nobility to grant the peasantry greater rights, although serfdom was retained. King Charles XI withdrew large noble estates to the Swedish Crown effectively turning serfs into taxpaying farmers. In 1632, a printing press and university were established in the city of Dorpat (known as Tartu since 1918). This period is known in Estonian history as "the Good Old Swedish Time."
Estonians loved us ;D
