I googled it but couldn't find anything. I'm guessing that either a)they didn't want Leipzig to be harmed in anyway if the French lost or b) They thought the French were going to loose. If anyone knows the answer, I'd appreciate it.

btw the only reason why I'm asking is because, well, I'm curious to know the answer. :D

Nr. 104 Infanterie-Regiment "Kronprinz"

About

We are a English Speaking Saxon line infantry regiment that wants to give it's members a memorable and enjoyable experience. We are founded upon the ideals of respect, discipline, and entertainment. We accept both NA and EU players, and which makes the regiment more interesting, diverse, and stronger because of it. Our community (The XI) has been around since the very beginning of MM, and we hope that we can continue along the years with more people to voice their own opinions, ideas, or thoughts. We hope that if you decide to join, you leave a positive impact on us all.

History

Although in history our regiment is not very well known, the Nr.104 Kronprinz Infanterie-Regiment origination is from Saxony, who was at the time allied with the Prussians during the Franco-Prussian war. They participated in some major battle's during the Franco-Prussian war, including the battle of Sedan and the siege of Paris. The regiment would also later serve in World War 1, and in 1930, a memorial would be dedicated to the soldiers lost during the war in the city of Chemnitz.
