Its just as trash as the Last Jedi, maybe even worse.

Havent posted on here in 10 months so I think fully agreeing with you here is a good start. Absolutely awful and borderline comedic at times.
Almost as many plot holes and lore breaking moments as the Last Jedi.
-Force ghosts being able to manipulate physical objects are the new hyperspace kamikaze in terms of hilarious brokenness/over-poweredness.
-Rey destroys a transport ship BY ACCIDENT with a bit of lightning but Sidious' enormous fuck-off lightning storm is basically just a temporary electric tazer.
-Rey absolutely sucks at the basic lightsaber training again at the start of the movie then they totally drop that angle and she is an elite duelist 30 minutes later (thought they were gonna have her build her own light-staff which would have been cool).
-Sidious has a dozen Snokes just chilling in pods and is apparently capable of creating extremely powerful force users from scratch, shame he doesnt use this for anything else
-Hux's "plan" makes absolute fuck-all sense and just when you think theyre gonna do something interesting with the character they make him retarded comic relief for the last time
-Finn has multiple interesting introductory conversations with people but none of them are actually explored
-Rey just intrinsically knows even more force powers cause fuck it why not
-every character outside the main group literally just pops in as a plot device to hand them some mcguffin then fucks off (lando and the dagger, Poe's forgettable love interest and the chip that can get you into any star destroyer cause that totally exists for some fucking reason)
-the path to Sidious' layer is through that storm or whatever but only from one side, you could literally go around it
-Star destroyers need a communication array to launch but it has to be ONE SINGLE ARRAY BROADCASTING TO THE ENTIRE FLEET - cause yeah that makes sense
-Sidious has an entire, fully manned fleet of star destroyers armed with planet killers, where did all the people come from
-Sidious has repeatedly stated that he does not want to rule over a galaxy of the dead so that makes fuck all sense too (planet killers)
-Star Destroyers cant have their shields up in atmosphere - literally an asspull that violates even disney canon rules (there are shielded capital ships in atmosphere in both Rebels and the Clone Wars as well as Rogue One...)
-*rebellion fleet arrives "Thats not an army, its just normal people" - hell no thats a gigantic fucking fleet with like 2 dozen capital ships pulled out of those squids' asses - where the hell did they get the fleet (see: you have to read the booooooooook to understand the moooooooovie........)
-Rey soloing palpatine is fucking insulting and done in a totally unoriginal way
The most serious affront is that it renders THE ENTIRE GODDAMN SKYWALKER STORY POINTLESS. Its now the Palpatine Saga not the skywalker saga. Anakin's ENTIRE ARC from jedi to Vader to redemption across 6 movies is now just as pointless as the bloody Canto Bight arc in TLJ. Now it becomes a triple fakeout of "anakin is the chosen one" to "You were the chosen one" (ROTS) to killing palpatine and fulfilling the prophecy to "SIKE LOL HE REALLY ISNT DEAD ANAKIN ACTUALLY ISNT THE CHOSEN ONE ITS REY hahaha". The ENTIRE LEGACY of the skywalkers is now failure.
