Demon Slayer is good once you get over the really annoying characters but Ufotable is known for having basically unlimited budgets and it shows in the animation, looks incredible.

for real im not usually an animation/visuals whore (or shonen fan in general) but Tengen vs Gyutaro is fucking nutty (plus the movie and Rui fight season 1 ofc)

And I'd say while not amazing the story is just about good and unique enough to differentiate it from the crowd and hold everything up enough for the animation to really carry it to the next level.

just popping in a few weeks late to say Leafs suck ass, existence is pain, and Marner can go fuck himself. see you all again after the leafs get bounced in the first round next season (wouldn't surprise me if they don't even make the playoffs)

just a tad late to the throwback party ^

see you again next may if we make the playoffs with 2 barely functional goalies

Canada is fucked lmao I need out.

C-10 gave the government the power to regulate internet content including social media end users under the old Broadcasting Act (intended for old radio and TV broadcasts). now bill c-36 will give them the power to define what they consider to be hate speech on a whim and punish it with fines of up to $20,000 for first offense and $50,000 for subsequent offenses; using information pulled from ISP's, social media companies, etc. to faciliate.

people kept repeating that the Liberals aren't stupid enough to try to censor the internet even after they removed the provision exempting end users from Bill c-10, but now it's clear that that's exactly what they're doing - and of course they are citing the incident in London as proof that this is required even though the perpetrator had little to no online presence as far as police have determined

I picked Jets in 7 but just lol oilers

Not to mention there were no real winners in either of the world wars. It's literally the most gruesome war in world history. France is not the worst nation to fight wars, not even in the last 100 years if we're honest. When they got beaten by Germany, not many other nations had the technological advancements nor strategist the germans had. Place any nation at the start of world war 2 in France's position, and they'll probably get destroyed.

It occurs to me there may be a legitimate argument that the country worst at actual *fighting* wars since 1900 is Russia/USSR.

Defeated by Japan in 1905.

Crushed in WWI to the point the empire collapsed (started off getting absolutely annihilated at Battles of Tannenburg and Masurian Lakes)

Humiliated by Poland one on one in 1920.

Absolutely mauled by germany after their alliance broke in WW2 - only stemmed the tide with a river of blood and with thanks to winter, the Allies (supplies/equipment and opening up additional fronts) and Hitler's awful strategic directives.

Fought to a standstill with atrocious losses by Finland in the Winter War.

Decades of struggling to quell insurrections and border troubles with chechens and such

Driven out of afghanistan by mujahideen

Taking bets on the outcome of 4eme vs 1tes. Its gonna be a close one

1tes folks I'm not saying I'll throw for money but my paypal is always open <3

Glazers might be cashing out of Utd cause of all of this. Did Perez just inadvertantly save football?

Change this shitty and irrelevant league to a Pike Groupfighting league, PGL for short.

nowhere near cancer enough a name. make it Pike Only Groupfighting Championship (POGchamp for short)

Marc and me are in 1tes and June/Mexicant are in the 4e. You are one stupid trash can with a lisp.

Oh i forgot because you're irrelevant and haven't played in months because you got banned from the last league you were in.

VetroG is banned from posting on this thread.
Actually, me being gone for months is more relevant than you playing every day for the past few months. I also stopped playing because I lost interest in the game. Having league 1 with four regiments in it with two of them being one of the winners without a doubt is stupid. All I will be seeing are 15-0%u2019s or 15-5%u2019s. Your league is a GIGI before it even started.
Idk how not having an interest in the game makes your opinion more valid than someone who does. Anyway...

I would like to compare this moment in NW history to that of the aftermath of the Peloponnesian War. Everyone was focused on the two superpowers, Athens and Sparta (84th and 98e), but slowly and secretly Macedon (the 21st) built up their strength to take over the entire Greek world to create the largest empire the world had seen up to that point. Just wait  ;)

21st is now legally obliged to use pikes instead of bayonets and additionally required to incorporate some vague homo-erotic undercurrents into their reg using that weird Alexander movie as a guide
