What instruments do you play? How long have you been playing?

I've been playing guitar for 7 years and sometimes mess around with bass and piano. I'm not very good at either.

I've been playing guitar for around 7-8 years too, got a Stratocaster and a Fender Acoustic, some pedals and a little Roland amp.

Also starting to learn myself a bit of piano...

I mostly play hard rock, blues rock ,psychedelic rock, metal but also some ok sounding pop songs...

Woah that's awesome man! It was either a Strat or Tele for me. The Tele prevailed . I love basically the same type of music except pop songs.

The pop songs are like the acoustic songs, some Ed Sheeran, Passenger, etc

For me it was also either Strat or Tele, but now Ivve moded my Strat so I can use it with and without the trebble. So its strats a tele sound now  Also thinking of investing in a Epi Les Paul...

I wasn't totally wrong, but starting as a child is quite better than start in the last year of high school.
Sometimes I play with friends but just to have fun. still thinking it has been a good decision (also because Italy it has a lot of good beaches and an acoustic guitar is always welcome when you're there )

There is not a "better" time to start, its not like a sport. And if you start as a child you cant understand some parts of the theory in music as its too complex...

And yea, jamming with others is sooooo good.

Maybe you don't understand  theory, but you can develop really good technique, and then growing you'd learn theory.

I know some guy who follow this way, now they're very good guitarists.

But sure, someone can be very good also if it starts late, it's just that when you're older you've more things to do (a lot), and learn how to play a guitar very well takes time.
True also the opposite, children don't really like playing an instrument and are forced by parents, or get bored after few years.

I play guitar. Both electric and half acoustic. (Even though there might not be too much of a difference...) I also play piano and sing. (If you'd count singing an instrument... )
I also played snare drums for my reenacting group when I was 13.
