So how about dem Bears? What's happening with Mason Crosby? Will the packers recover?
2 big boy TDs yesterday from the Chiefs and Vikings, always grateful to see those type of interceptions.

I don't like Patriots but they're still going to win their division in the AFC east as it's literally the most lopsided one. All they have to do is win 4 other games outside their divison and they go to the playoffs. (Which isn't hard in the AFC). But they do have a hard schedule so hopefully this year we may have a different AFC champion other than the patriots.Sry but you guys lost to the Lions and the Jags so if they keep shittin the bed everywhere other than their own division then its gonnna be a bit closer lolNo it's not. LSU hands down has the hardest schedule this year Playing Miami, Auburn, Florida, Bama, Miss State, and Texas A&M. I know Miami, Auburn, and Miss State sucks now but they were ranked when we played them. I agree Clemson & Bama has easy ass schedules.

Yes they do. Flordia is a surprise like Texas this year. we are both doing well, I still have LSU winning though. Texas A&M is garbage lmao. Bama is bama
Also the Ohio St game was hilarious
Yep. Bama does its best to play nobodies as much as possible. and then people go "wow. look how great they are" after playing said nobodies. im not sure about this year, but in the past they made sure they played some nobody a week before their big game so it is essentially a bye week. They pretty much rely on their conference having 2-3 decent or better teams to make them have a semi challenging schedule.(with one of those games being in the conference championship)Ohio State better than Texas
I'm sorry you lost to Purdue. lolLets be real OSU & Texas are ass compared to the top of the SEC. 8)
Trust me, Texas being in top 10 is a shocker and I can't believe it. But SEC teams have some of the easiest schedules. Alabama has 1 hard game vs LSU. LSU has 2, Alabama and Georgia. Georgia has 1 vs LSU and maybe 2, Flordia. Yeah sure they have some good top 10 teams but eh those schedules...
Even these other teams in the top 10 not in the SEC. Ohio State and Notre Dame each has/had a tough game vs Michigan, and Clemson literally plays nobodies.

with all that said though, most teams do their best to make their non conference as easy as possible, with maybe one challenging game. They get their 2-3 easy wins making it easier to get into a bowl game.
the OSU game was just sad to watch. They haven't looked top 5 all year. Their defense has been awful for an "elite" team. They can't run the ball either. OSU self destructed so many times saturday. Much like they did last year when Iowa beat the snot out of them. That game was more or less over at half against Iowa. I am glad we gave urban his worst beating in any of his coaching jobs. it brings a smile to my face.
I honestly dont know who has the best conference anymore from top to bottom. I lean big 10. They have 6 good teams this year with some not so bad middle teams.(and a few really bad ones) I am not impressed by the PAC 12. Big 12 isn't too bad, but its mainly the same 3 teams with the rest being meh to garbage. ACC is meh outside of clemson and miami imo. SEC has 4 or 5 good teams this year with rest being meh or worse.
I am more curious if Bama can play 4 quarters. With all of these easy games, usually being done at half time, can they play a 4 quarter game against a tough opponent? They haven't been tested all year.(unlike the other top teams)
LSU 24 - 20 AlabamaWhat? no sorry I just dont think so. Tua is too good to be held to 20 points, not mentioning the other tools bama has. They can definitely play 4 quarters, part of the reason bama games are done at half-time is because they play so well with their starters, then once they know theyve won the game they put their third strings in to get some play time.
Tua's never played an average defense for an entire game. That boy will get flustered and he'll look like a headless chicken facing an elite defense like LSU. Case closedLSU 24 - 20 AlabamaWhat? no sorry I just dont think so. Tua is too good to be held to 20 points, not mentioning the other tools bama has. Marksman everyone gets it Bama has been killing teams but look who they have played. You're right Alabama hasn't played a truly elite team yet, however they have played a few solid teams, and none of the games they have played have even been close really. If you want to bring up the game by game, LSU had a great game against Georgia, which was truly a pleasant surprise as a S Car fan, but they also played an uncomfortably close game with Auburn (who lost to Tennessee), and lost to Florida (who lost to Kentucky and was down to Vandy 21-3 at the half). Im not saying its impossible, in fact I think Id like to see LSU win. The thing is though a lot of the times these big college football games are decided by who gets the momentum, and momentum is largely created by a teams quarterback. I dont know if Joe Burrow can create any momentum against bama, and all Tua does it seems is create momentum, I mean he doesnt have a pick yet this season. For LSU my heart says yes but my head says no :(
1.) Louisville (2-5) - They are terrible and been losing to every ACC team they faced
2.) Arkansas State (4-3) - Nobodies
3.) Ole Miss (5-3) - One of the worst defenses I had seen this year Allowing 41 points to fucking Southern Illinois
4.) Texas A&M (5-2) - Bama's best win but they barely beat South Carolina & Kentucky
5.) Louisiana Cajuns (3-4) - Nobodies
6.) Arkansas (2-6) - Arkansas the worst team in the SEC West losing to Colorado State & North Texas this year
7.) Missouri (4-3) - Offensively not bad but their defense has been bad for a long time
8.) Tennessee (3-4) - Their offense is so bad that they give points to the defense and has lost every game to a SEC team besides Auburn who suck ass now
Based on this schedule Idk how you can say Bama is straight up better than everyone. I get it people doubt anyone to beat them but if anyone can beat Bama it is LSU because of how many good or solid teams we have beaten this year. We beat #8 Miami, #7 Auburn, #2 Georgia, and #22 Miss State. Experts said we were suppose to lose all those games expect Miss State. We have 3 guys on the Mid- Season First team Defense - Devin White, Greedy Williams, and Grant Delpit. Not saying we wouldn't lose but this year we have done a good job stopping the pass with 14 int & dominated GA's offense line which is one of the biggest in the country. I don't mind people doubting LSU because we play best when we are underdogs.

welcome to college football where only 2 maybe 3 teams actually have a chance of winning anything and the rest of the games are just fodderFor the first time I can agree with a Canadian on football.

God Georgia's recruiting is so easy. They have virtually no in state competition besides GT and the state of Georgia consistently pumps a high number of great recruits every year. At S Carolina we have to compete with Clemson in an already small state, makes getting a top recruiting class super hard. We had a 4 star decommit and go to Georgia like two weeks ago, shit made my blood boil.Very true that duo is pretty nice.Yeah, even as a GA fan he wouldn't have gotten much time behind Holyfield and Swift who are probably going to stay a couple more years.John Emery Jr commits to LSU easy. 5 Star stud from desterhanI'm glad he decommitted from GA

Michigan got destroyedindeed. from the start they were always playing catch up. then they self destructed.
lets go SC. I believe in this upset. they only down 21-28 to Clemson right now. also USC could upset ND as well, they are up 10-0 rnWe did better than I thought so thats good. I was worried theyd shut us out with theyre defence but i dont think theyre as good as they think they are. Our offence is capable of doing some great stuff, Jake Bentley had 510 passing yds, its just our defence cant stop shit, especially Clemson, doesnt help that all our starting defenders are out.
edit: SC had a great start tbh, Clemson just regrouped in the second half. USC had a chance, oh well
how about that LSU vs A&M game xD

The LSU game was pretty crazy, broke a bunch of fbs records. I also was prepared to eat my words about Michigan, i thought they were gonna roll Ohio st but oh well. At this point I just want as much chaos as possible. Just please let every favored team lose their conference game this Saturday.
I wonder who will be #4 with the playoffs so closeGeorgia
I hope so but I saw somewhere that OSU might jump after their game against Michigan.I wonder who will be #4 with the playoffs so closeGeorgia
OK barely beat OKSU we beat the "Number 1 Defense in the Country" and we all know damn well Georgia finna get clapped by bama
not too suprised at the top 4. im not sure 3, 4, 5, or 6 are at the same level currently as the top 2. each one has their issues.
i guess we will see how well those teams travel.
i wonder if this will start the discussion to expanding the playoff to 8 teams.(i think the odds would of been a lot higher had georgia got in over OK) personally, i think it should of been 8 teams since the beginning, if not 6. it would of avoided so many of the issues like can 2 teams from one conference get in, leaving one or more conference champions out, or basically preventing any team like UCF of ever having a chance to play in the playoffs.
on another minor note, i am glad Georgia didn't get in. i wouldn't of felt like seeing another Georgia bama game.
yea, i watched that. pretty bad safety. he never saw it coming.not too suprised at the top 4. im not sure 3, 4, 5, or 6 are at the same level currently as the top 2. each one has their issues.

6-8 teams would be interesting but make a bit easier for teams to get in and therefore maybe less competitive? idk. sad my longhorns couldn't win, we had a great fumble recovery at the end then a safety. kms. yeah georgia vs bama again wouldn't be as hyped
I don’t think it would be any less competitive if there were more teams in the playoff. There are a handful of snubs every yearagreed. one can argue that the first teams left out of the 8, 10, 12 whatever are snubbed, which is true, but at least those teams aren't conference champions.
CFP but it's march madness and has 68 teams! /sim not against them moving more in that direction. march madness is a great success. i agree that ND to me is probably the weakest of the 4 teams. i would put OK ahead of them.
Expanded playoffs is a must in the years to come. I think it would be great to see teams like UCF and Notre Dame play real opponents to see if they really deserve their ranking when you have OK/UGA/OSU that deserve the spot more imo.
who does clemson play?ND. OK vs bama

that will prob happen but i wanna see Clemson win only because i like Trevor over TuaI don't necessarily want to see Bama win yet again but I'd see them win every day as opposed to having Clemson win. But yea I see Clemson beating Notre Dame, and then hopefully Bama beats OK cuz I think they have the best shot at beating Clemson in the Championship.

Yuh after putting up 35 points and 500+ passing yards on Clemson and we cant get a single point against Virginia. Just waiting for those 11 win seasons like in the Steve Spurrier days to come back again.
But Texas is looking good af against Georgia rn.

I’ll be curious to see what Clemson’s QBs career looks like considering that’s him as freshman. He takes some hard hits tho, so it’s probably only a matter of time before he gets injured. If they were smart they’d tell him to play it safer and not go head to head into defenders when rushingthat last part of the game where he kept running it was a little painful to watch. That is how you get hurt. Mobile QBs are nice and all, and can do quite well, but most of them are always injured. They dont make it too many seasons constantly taking so many hard hits. the ones that cant really run anymore because they are hurt, and instead forced to stay in the pocket dont do to well either. Its one of the main reasons why QBs who are use to staying in the pocket, and playing with the "pro" offense style tend to last.

Here’s my top QB’s for the draft this year:
1.) Tua Tagovailoa - Alabama
2.) Justin Herbert - Oregon
2b.) Jake Fromm - Georgia
4.) KJ Costello - Stanford
5.) Jacob Eason - Washington
6.) Nate Stanley - Iowa
I think Herbert could potentially be the top QB if he fixes his accuracy issues this season. The dude is big and has crazy arm talent. He would’ve been the #1 pick if he came out last year. But right now I think he’s probably tied with Fromm for me.
I think the top four could all go in the first round. They’re definitely talented enough.

is Trevor Lawrence going to stay until his senior year?
I'm not sure how well Nate Stanley/Iowas offense will do this year. Losing 2 first round draft picks(both TE) which were his safety blanket will hurt. On the other hand, Iowa has a tradition of making great TE, and he is a senior. I believe if he gets as many TDs as he did last year, he will be #1 all time for Iowa QBs.
Big 10 West seems like it will be a fairly competitive Div.
He’s only a sophomore so he isn’t eligible for the NFL Draft. He will be the #1 pick next year.I'm not sure how well Nate Stanley/Iowas offense will do this year. Yeah I’m gonna be interested to see how he does after losing two of the best weapons on the team. In terms of his NFL potential though, I think he could go anywhere from the second to fourth round. I think he could be a legit talented NFL quarterback. He has the size and arm strength you’d want. He has games where he looks like he’s Big Ben. Also Iowa’s system should give him a head start in the NFL.
The Big 10 is gonna be really open this year I think. Michigan and Ohio State seem beatable to me. If Justin Fields is really THAT good right away tho I think Ohio State is gonna be legit contenders.
Our offensive line is the worst I’ve ever seen. Pair that with Williams not being ready it was a mess. So many delay of games, so many blown blocks, so many mistakes on offense. Williams didn’t even know how to throw the fucking ball away.I think he did ok for what he was given. He had 200+ yds and a td with an O line that looked like a middle school flag football team. I mean 10 sacks? But yea both teams really played sloppy. It became comical tbh. The Florida secondary was awful and looked like they had never tackled before. Not to mention the penalties on both sides I think totaled like 250 yds. When that Florida d-back got a PI on 4th and 34 I about choked on my beer. How stupid can you be? Makin me feel better about SC playing them later in the season.
If Florida is #8 then Miami is #9. Florida is not a top 10 team.

But yea real college football starts next weekend thank god.
Miami QB was pretty solid but Offensive Line is worse then a high school team. Florida is sad for having such a close game with Miami.

I was pretty happy with Texas. We may actually start having a better running game now.The only thing that made our loss better was knowing that two other SEC east teams had losses to even worse teams. Still sucked; we got thoroughly outplayed at pretty much every spot on the field and we still had opportunities to save ourselves from an L and couldn't capitalize. Jake Bentley had a wide open TD pass in the fourth that wouldve saved us that honestly I couldve made and instead he decided that Molly Sue in the second row needed a free game ball. Bouta be a long season if we cant get our shit together.
Also, rip Tennessee and South Carolina.
Texas vs LSU should be pretty good.

But yea at least Im not a Tennessee fan lul
Come scoop, I'm in Corpus. We'll get AsianP tooTexas vs LSU should be pretty good.
Yeah, that game will be amazing. I will be there :)
Is Jalen Hurts honestly gonna get any competition for the Heisman this year realistically? He’s a better college QB than Kyler or Mayfield were IMO. Dudes a power running back that can throw the ball well lmao.Fields in OSU will probably have a good running. Sad as a Georgia fan to see him leave but it was inevitable

any other good games to keep an eye out for? Maryland vs syracuse could be pretty good. not sure how close clemson vs Texas A&M will be. Neb vs Col could be good. IDK about USC vs stanford after the USC QB being knocked out.
next week is iowa vs iowa state which is almost always an entertaining match up.(as most state rivalry games are)
it was a pretty good game. texas was so close to getting that onside kick.
Mich barely survived army. Nebraska couldnt handle Cols comeback. Maryland stomped the crap out of syracuse. stanford vs USC game seems close right now.
I am not sure what good games are next week outside of Iowa vs ISU.
yea, i saw the Tenn highlights after i posted. Rip. purdue beat vandy i think. i was surprised the clemson score was so close. I would say they may drop out of first, but bama in 2nd played another nobody and shouldn't be rewarded. I feel like LSU should move up, but idk where to. OSU stomped Cin which was suppose to be a fairly tough game.it was a pretty good game. texas was so close to getting that onside kick.

Also another rip Tennessee week. They lost to BYU and I heard they haven't been 0-2 (for starting out in the season) since like 1988 or something. and Clemson didn't stomp A&M, sure they won and had a decent lead but still. It wasn't 40 points plus or something.
the Michigan vs army was really shocking. I think they will drop in the rankings for that.
I am not sure what good games are next week outside of Iowa vs ISU.
-South Carolina gave Bama a run for their money the 1st half
Florida will come back down to Earth soon enough. Always overrated just like Texas and Notre Dame every year.
some pretty good match ups this weekend.
Mich vs Wis. If its the Mich we saw the first few weeks, i think Wis has it fairly easily.
Utah at USC could be something.
ND and Georgia could be good. I am not convinced ND is ranked #7 but we will see.
there are probably another half dozen games that could be fun to watch as well. OSU vs TX, Boise st vs AF, and Auburn vs TX A&M
South Carolina is pissing me off. Can’t believe how bad they are.If we lose to Kentucky FOR THE SIXTH TIME IN A ROW next week you might not hear from me again.
RIP. Become a LSU fan with me!!South Carolina is pissing me off. Can’t believe how bad they are.If we lose to Kentucky FOR THE SIXTH TIME IN A ROW next week you might not hear from me again.

on another note, idk how Iowa is ranked 14th. i dont think they are that good. As am Iowa fan, I am biased and often think Iowa is worse than what they are, but i dont think they deserve to be that high. they didn't even play last week and went up 4 spots. A win is a win, but we barely escaped ISU.

The curse is over, the streak of madness has been broken, a return to normalcy has commenced. USC beat Kentucky Hallelujah and praise be to jeebus. And even better we didnt look like total ass doing it.
I was about to cry when Clemson was able to pull through against UNC. I wanted to see them lose so bad. Especially after all of those orange fuckers were given us shit for losing to UNC on week 1. The irony would have been beautiful. Oh well.

Iowa is it's own worst enemy. Been that way as far as a i remember. They can have the team to compete against some of the best, but then they just find a way to self destruct. It is what keeps us from competing in Big 10 titles or winning big bowl games like the rose bowl. IDK of any other teams that are like this for as long as this, so i can only blame the coach. We did more to hurt ourselves than MI did on several drives. TBH, MI didn't look that good either. For as bad as Iowa was, they only managed to get 10 points. All in the first quarter. A few of those turn overs were more down to bad luck while MI got lucky with a few of their mistakes.(like their fumble on a punt return) their 3rd down defense was awful. Now, i would not be surprised if Iowa somehow managed to beat Penn state(i think it is a night game at iowa)
ISU won against TCU in a pretty convincing manner from what i saw.(they pulled the game off TV in the 2nd half...)
Sadly, i was busy the rest of the day, so i missed all the other games. AU vs FL looked to be pretty good, as was TX vs WV. I haven't seen any other scores so idk who all won today.
Texas got lucky that kid decided to toss them the ball every possession. They could’ve lost that game.
Texas got lucky that kid decided to toss them the ball every possession. They could’ve lost that game.
No. If you watch the interceptions, you would see the defense making plays. All of them were athletic and just reading the QB, especially that one where Jamison took it from the receiver.
Time for the best game of the season so far LSU vs FLorida this weekend!!
I think LSU should win, but you never know who will show up.
Penn state at Iowa.
MSU at Wis.
Col at Oregon.
OK and TX.
USC and ND
those should/could be good games, sadly i will miss most of the evening and night games again.
Tempting to go watch the Bama game in person but I'm 99% A&M will loseMost likely yeh

tough loss. I think that we did fine, just needed to have a stronger offense earlier. Oklahoma had really good defense and we couldn't make a stop in the 4th.Was a piss poor showing by Georgia and especially Fromm. They could have tried to kick a 60 yard field goal with 8 seconds left but opted to hail Mary, which didn't go far. They just deserved the L, which is sad to say as a fan.
Our only losses are to top 5 teams (both lost by 1 touchdown) so we just need to win out, which we can do.
I didn't see the SC vs Georgia game but it must have been good. Marksman will be happy lol
Yeh SC gave them many chances but Georgia's boring and simple offense couldn't do much. Yeh Fromm was pretty bad and I thought he would adjust during the 2nd half but didn't.tough loss. in case anyone else wants to feel old, lol.
I don't watch enough college anymore to even know the names of any QBs unless they have been around for 3-4 years or have huge NFL hype, I remember just about every QB from the top 25 then. Great memories and so many unforgettable plays and players. Not trying to sound like an oldhead but college football was different then, lol.
going to the Nebraska Indiana game this weekend. hopefully will be a good game. it gets boring being an OSU fanrough to watch the offense throw this one away
I gave up on Miami already. My Jets suck. My Devils suck. Yankees are done. Nets season baby lets goooooooo

as of right now, Burrow deserves Heisman.
I hope Tua and Joe both have awful games and I hope Bama wins.We all know that is not going to happen
Gotta get Hurts into that frontrunner spot for the Heisman
Jake Fromm went from a solid possibly early first round guy to late first maybe second round guy. Disappointing so far.Eason is not the 3rd best QB in the draft if the Huskies are 5-4. Burrow, Tua, Hurts, and Herbert are all better then him.
Jacob Eason has replaced him as my third best QB for the draft rn. It all comes full circle lmao.

oof
LSU deserves to be #1.
Minn dominated most of the game vs Penn state. The ending was a little shaky though. At Iowa should be a good game. Wis needs Iowa to beat them, and then Wis needs to beat them a week later. Big 10 east champ is hoping Minn goes undefeated.
Iowa took too long to get going offensively. Couldnt punch in a fumble on Wis 15 or so yard line. Silly fumble from freshmen center to QB killed a different promising drive. That collision on the goal line was something to see when going for 2 points. Still, i doubt the defense would of stopped wis from going down the field and trying a field goal. That 75 yard TD pass while good for points, wasn't good for eating some clock. Ideally they would of drove down the field getting a TD, if they made the 2 point conversion, gone to OT. I wasn't too impressed with taylor when it comes to heimans considerations.
Baylor wins yet another close game.
ISU vs OK was an interesting game. ISU had at least 2 chances in the first quarter alone to intercept for a touchdown. You have to take those opportunities when they come. They came back and went for the 2 point conversion with 20? seconds left. Sadly they didn't make it. Considering what ISU has been for the last 15 or so years in the big 12, they are a team to respect now. No longer a team that is almost a guaranteed win. Similar to Iowa this year, what could of been is painful. They were close in all 4 of their loses. The difference between an ok/good season and a great one is winning those.
I wont bore you over explaining my feelings about S Carolina ill just leave you with this image that thoroughly embodies the current state of the season.
People still sleeping on App State smhApp State is pretty good. However theyre still only good for their conference. With the money, resources, and recruiting at SC we should never be losing to a Sun Belt team. But that being said SC hasnt been this bad since my Freshman year when Spurrier left so Im not surprised by anything.
LSU deserves to be #1.as an ohioan I agree, OSU has only had 2 games so far where the other team has even had a chance.

lol @texas football
geaux tigahsLSU!!
while i agree LSU should be #1, my guess is based on the last week of games, OSU faced a tougher opponent so they got bumped up. odds are LSU will move back into 1 when the final games of the season are played.I feel like Nebraska and Iowa is gonna go either one of two ways. Neb gets blown the fuck out because Martinez's decision making and interceptions. Or a really good upset for Nebraska. Im sure that beating the Maryland punching bag at home will probably be a good morale booster going into this week.
I would not be surprised if Iowa loses fri to Neb, because Neb has everything to play for and Iowa doesn't outside of getting a 10 win season. At home vs a ranked team with the chance to go bowling on the line.
ISU vs Kan state should be good.
i hope bama loses to Aub.
OSU at Mich should be good. Part of me hopes MI wins for MI gets its first win in 5? years. OTOH i hope OSU wins so they can hopefully win the playoffs.
Refs did their best to try and help Neb win with lots of bad calls. I pity any team that has them in a bowl game. This was so sad, even with the calls clearly being for Nebraska they still got dunked on. Except for the targeting call. Unless the dude is trying to kill the receiver targeting shouldn't even be in the game
Xichigan fucking garbageJust stop
btw i agree lsu should be number 1 faced a lot better comp than us but we finna crush yall anyways xx

Welp that was a very deflating and utterly disappointing season for the cocks. If you had told me at the start of the season that we would win 4 games this year and one of them would be at #3 Georgia I probably would have smacked you in the mouth. Spent my last game in the student section watching the dam Clemsonites run all over us even though it was kinda expected, cant say I wasnt hoping for some miraculous upset in the back of my mind though. Guess theres still basketball season....
Elsewhere there was some good stuff, for instance Ole Miss getting a penalty for an excessive celebration on a game tying touchdown which pushed the extra point 15 yards back which was ultimately missed. And Alabama having 12 men on the field. Nick Saban probably burst a blood vessel from screaming when they got to the locker room. Guess they had Tua many people on the field...
Someone suggested the playoffs expand to 8 teams. The top 5 can be the champions of the Power 5 schools (ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, and SEC) and the remaining 3 will be the wildcard teams. Teams like Utah or even UCF during their undefeated season would be a wildcard.

yeah it's a good idea. Utah is in the pac 12 tho
mainly the teams like UCF, Memphis, SMU, even Appalachian State this year (in terms of record). but the reason they aren't rated high is because of their conferences and schedule aren't the level of SEC, big 12, big 10, etc. And pretty sure they would get crushed by the top 10 if they played.
Burrow should win for sure, but fields should be the second highest placing QB. 37/1 TD to INT ratio is absurd for anyone let alone playing in the big10 and being undefeated. Hurts has a major rushing advantage but big12 is... yikes
My impression of the 2nd half was OSU came out to play, and Wis didn't. OSU looked unprepared in the first half. It wasn't until the 2nd half that they recovered from that punch to the mouth.
I think LSU should be #1 because of the schedule and beat down but i would not be surprised if OSU retained it. Clemson will be #3 imo, and i am guessing OK 4th.
well the top 4 went as i thought.
LSU, OZU, Clem, OK
Oklahoma is either gonna get blasted or pull out a ridiculous upset. I hope Hurts makes Saban wish he stayed.already did he in the playoffs and saban on the couch
Burrow got it as expected. Got a good feeling about him in the NFL+1 He might be the next great one if he continues to play but right now LSU got some business to finish in the playoffs!
hes gonna suck in the nflBurrow got it as expected. Got a good feeling about him in the NFL+1 He might be the next great one if he continues to play but right now LSU got some business to finish in the playoffs!

it is hard to say how good a player will be in the NFL. Some great college players turn out to be major duds in the NFL. A lot of the QBs who relied on running and a little passing dont last long. They take too much of a beating. Now if you can get a QB who is mobile but always looking to pass first, then they can do well.
While the USC vs Iowa game is in less than 2 weeks, idk how much it will change Stanley's draft status if he ends up being drafted. His entire Iowa career is a mixed bag. He set several records at Iowa. He has had some great games, including giving OSU it's worse loss(or one of) ever under Urban. He beat ISU 3 times including the thrilling shootout game a few years ago. Then he has other games that he just didn't look good in. Lots of missed opportunities. This year was rough, due to his play, offensive line being meh, and not having those TEs for massive mismatches in the secondary. A lot of his sacks were coverage sacks. While the experts predicted iowa would go 8-4, and they did better than that, i also cant help but see what could of been. Iowa kept it close in all those loses.
I guess that final drive with no TOs with 40ish seconds left at nebraska was one heck of a way to end the regular season. Playing in a pro style offense does help compared to the QBs who never played in that system or even took a snap under center.
Edit Rip Hayden Fry, former Iowa coach for 20 years. He produced many great coaches and players, and revived the Iowa football program. Iowa has had 2 coaches in the last 45 years, which is very rare.
Same. he had potential for a better year. If he has a good good bowl game showing, on top of the stuff above, he may be in the middle rounds. I think he could be a pretty good back up. The last Iowa QB, last i checked was a backup for San Fran. I think he did oK when he played for them, but nothing great. San Fran is certainly enjoying the best TE in football currently, and that is Kittle from Iowa. It is not only his catching, but his blocking.it is hard to say how good a player will be in the NFL. Some great college players turn out to be major duds in the NFL. A lot of the QBs who relied on running and a little passing dont last long. They take too much of a beating. If I'm a team like Atlanta or Minnesota with a solid QB and no great backup, I'd look at Stanley in a round 5-7 spot. I think if he has a good pro day and combine he could even move into third or fourth round consideration. I wish he had a better year tho, especially compared to the past two seasons.
Most disappointing season of football in Miami historyMiami needs to disband their football team for losing to a power 5 school 14-0.
Yea, that not a fumble call was BS. he ran with it for several steps with firm control. OSU could/should of won if they didn't shoot themselves in the foot, but that was a bad overrule by the refs.
At least Texas got the Big 12 its first win after its beat down of Utah.(didnt see that coming) PAC 12 hasn't looked great this year so far. Same for Big 12.
Mich vs bama, Minn vs Aub, and Wis vs Oregon will all probably be tough games for the big 10. if i had to guess, Big 10 will go 1-2 out of those 3, but i can see them going 0-3 or at best 2-1. I have my doubts bama vs Mich will even be close. The other 2 will be more of a toss up.
If LSU wins tomorrow I legitimately think New Orleans might burn to the ground. LSU cancelled classes tomorrow and Tuesday because the entire student body was basically like go ahead and have class if you want but we aint gonna be there which I think is awesome. I would love to be in NOLA if I could. If Clemson wins I think I might have to move out of the state. It'll just be too much to stomach. If only you knew
Im shakin in me boots at the prospect of no college ball this season. I can live with no NBA or NHL playoffs and a delayed start to the MLB season. But if they dont have a 2020 cfb season Ill throw a fit. Even if they do it without fans thats better than nothing.my will to live will be crushed without cfb, i dont really watch anything else so the no sports fiasco hasn't affected me yet
WE BACK BABYno we aint :(
Big 12 taking L's left and right lmaooo
so uh who should i root for cus um yeah :(
I hope all the conferences play tbh. I was looking forward to the Texas, LSU rematch but I'll take a conference only season over nothing for sure.

Thank you god. Cmon S Carolina lets not be an utter embarrassment again this year.
SEC not allowing out of conference games this year still has me mad. USC and Clemson had the 2nd longest continuous streak of games in the country at 111 years and unless something changes that streak will be broken. I don't wanna hear anything from Georgia and Florida fans about their in state rivalry ever again because USC was the only team in the SEC that voted to have out of conference games even though its a near guarantee we'd get pounded by Clemson.
so uh who should i root for cus um yeah :(
rip LSU and Oklahoma so far.
Texas with a great comeback 8)
LSU QB pretty ass but the secondary has zero speed today for some reason.
The U is back baby don’t get it twisted. We ain't gonna talk about how half his passes were to open guys?
Mike Leach was the best hire in the country. That offense is must see TV. KJ Costello is reviving his NFL hype. I love it.

I mean I said they were going to have a bad season so I wasn’t expecting much, we lost. It is what it is and all I can do is hope we do better.
It’s not being able to laugh at your own team, lol. You can mock me all you want but you’re being a dick.

All I said was "Texas is back". Literally that is a college football meme that has been used since Vince Young was in college. If you took that as a personal attack, you have to rein in your ego.
Texas is back
Fart is trolling about texas on ts rn wtfTexas is dumb
rip OK. 2nd straight lose and first time losing at ISU since 1960.

ISU won an easy victory.
Texas vs OU was something else. lots of turnovers. lots of mistakes on both sides. lots of offense. was entertaining. OU not being able to close out a game though with a few minutes left is concerning for them. Had they ran instead of passed, texas may not of had time to go down and score the tying touchdown.
LSU losing to MO and FL losing to A&M were both surprises.
I wish i watched the bama game as that seemed like a lot of offense and little defense.(sounds like a lot of games today tbh)
Tenn gave georgia a hard time from what little i saw.
I forgot to mention that Ark game. they got robbed.
ISU is probably the most complete team in the big 12 right now. I am not sold yet if they are at a big 12 championship level.
ISU at OSU should be good next weekend. Iowa playing next weekend will be good. It has been too long since i got irritated by them.
Auburn losing is justice after last weekend.
Georgia vs Al was entertaining.
i didnt see the final score of FSU vs NC, but they were down 24? to nothing in the 2nd quarter.

The entire state of Ohio is going to be completely unproductive this week after having to wait this long for football and watching the other conferences play. I'd be surprised if literally anything got done.
I hope Penn State finally makes the leap this year. Their defense is stacked

forgot to mention Rutgers beat MSU. Never would of seen that coming. 7? turnovers by MSU.
Sorry Marksman LSU had to do it to ya
They will lose in the CFP don't worry.Quinn Ewers (#1 QB and #1 overall player in 2022 class) just decommitted from Texas and is expected to commit to Ohio State. And now apparently the #1 and #3 CB’s and the #1 WR in the 2022 class are expected to also commit to Ohio State. That is a stacked recruiting class.8)
not surprised. recruiting has been bad ever since mack brown leftHonestly not sure if Herman gets to keep his job after this season. I think he has a huge buyout number over $10 million so unless the boosters want him out that bad he might get one more year.

scary game for Clemson
This year is so crazy that you never know who will show up or win on any given week. Add on top of that any key players not being able to play because of Covid.
One of Iowas top receivers got in trouble. Had a .13 blood alcohol and was caught doing 70+ in a 35 zone. RIP the offense.

I'm already about at my rope's end with Will Muschamp. If we go and get blown out tomorrow, which is entirely possible at this point, I will be completely, officially, 100% done. I've given him the benefit of the doubt these past few years and tried to be more patient than a lot of the fan base but if we put up another listless performance tomorrow that will be it. I'm gonna want him dragged out of the football ops building by his heels kicking and screaming, jamming a one way plane ticket in his pocket, and strapping him on to the first plane out of Columbia, bound for Tuscaloosa or wherever he decides to end up after this. It's just inevitable at this point, unless he has some miraculous turnaround at the end of the year but I'd almost be ready to bet my life on that not happening.

Indiana is kinda nice wit it no capIndiana :( but nonetheless a good showing
Lawrence is gonna be a bust somehowI can’t think of a possibility where he doesn’t work out other than injury. He has every tool you want. His only issue that really bugs me is that he’s inconsistent with ball placement on deep passes. I think he’s gonna have a rookie season similar to Justin Herbert. To me he’s similar to Deshaun Watson in that he can run and be mobile, but is more dangerous as a passer and is always poised and can get to his third read. He is also a big human being and he has a great arm.

His floor is probably being Alex Smith. A solid starter with pro bowl potential.
I think Trey Lance will be a steal for a franchise with a QB thats getting older. I think Fields has closed the gap a lot on Lawrence as far as his draft stock goes but I think his decision making will give him a really hard time once some struggling NFL team puts him in during week 5 out of nowhere to try and save their season. I think it will probably be similar to a Haskins situation
Big 10 is such a mess this year. On another note, ISU is very likely to be in the championship. Should be another good match again OK.Nebraska Corn>Iowa Corn

Fields can struggle often against the blitz and under pressure as well. I think comparing him to how Haskins has panned out is a bit unfair, as Fields clearly has more talent. But I get what you mean. I think there is still a fairly large gap between Lawrence and Fields and to me Lawrence just sees the field so damn well. You can see him go from one progression to the next and his pocket awareness is amazing.
Trey Lance is interesting because I usually am more cautious when it comes to players with limited experience. I hold proven players in higher regard. Trey Lance with another year to prove himself would have benefitted a lot I think. Especially if NDSU actually got to play Oregon this season. He is so good.

Yeah fields has more talent for sure. My comparison to Haskins wasn’t an insult because I think he actually could have been a good NFL QB under the correct management (although there were some rumors of off the field issues so without factoring in that)
Kinda off topic but anyone else watch JT?

Lets go LSU!!
Poor South Carolina. At least you got Deion Sanders son!Lets go LSU!!
LSU was looking like they were starting to implode before our eyes what with opt outs and off-field stuff but that was a huge win which should revitalize the program for at least a bit. That shoe throw was elite.

Let's be real Florida had no chance to win that game with their best offensive players out of the game. I think a healthy/full strength Florida wipes Oklahoma's defense off the field.

I am curious how many players decide to stay one more year. ISU is keeping most of their senior class last i heard. They will probably be a pre season top 10 if not top 15 team. Iowa will probably be top 25.I wanted Matt Campbell as the Jets coach so bad. I hope ISU starts their dynasty now.

Well he hurt his ankle, so i doubt he will play or be 100%.
Was surprised to see IU dominated by Iowa.
I didnt get to watch the ISU game, but i was disappointed. They seem to struggle on week 0.
Wis did their best to throw the game.
OK got given a scare.
I thought there would of been more scoring in the GA vs Clem.
UCLA beating LSU is great for the pac 12.
ACC in general didnt do well.
God I wish FSU would perform well but they just lose to no-name teams :(
I like Ridder, cincy is a fun team to watch and I like the logo so I wear my bearcats hat all the timeWell he hurt his ankle, so i doubt he will play or be 100%.Desmond Ridder

ISU blew out a nobody, which is good i guess.
Iowa didnt look great. Few plays different and it would of been a lot closer. I am not convinced they are a top 15 team.
Bama seems to not like putting effort in. They will lose if they keep playing like that.
OSU needs a defense.
Didn't watch the penn state game, but that and the MSU win are both great for the big 10. Penn state has one of the toughest schedules in the big 10 i think. At Wis. At OSU, At Iowa(oct 9)
USC with the backup looked great.
UCLA losing after giving the other team 40 seconds to get a td was impressive.
I think a lot of conferences are wide open as to who will win.
It's Georgia and then everyone else. I expect Georgia to win by at least 20 next week vs Kentucky.
Michigan and MSU are probably overrated. Happens every year
TBH, this is a great year for college football. There is no super team like in years past, and all the usual contenders have lost or dont look great. Honestly you could argue a lot of the top teams could swap places, and it wouldn't be very inaccurate.
Anyone can win. I have no idea if Iowa will run the table to make the title game. Who knows what will happen in the big 10 east. We will see who is real in the next month or so. Bama has to win out(including against georgia) unless absolute chaos happens. OK is just looking for some way to lose. idk about Cin being a top 3 team either, but who knows.
Well that goes back to the age old question, should a team that played a far harder schedule and only lost say one game jump ahead of an undefeated team with an easier schedule. Only having 4 possible spots makes this far harder, since there will probably be several 1 lose teams that could argue they should be ahead at the end of the season. Only having 4 slots was a stupid decision. I cant wait for them to finally expand it.TBH, this is a great year for college football. Cincinnati is the best group of 5 team by far. They deserve to get a chance in the playoff if they can finish their schedule cleanly. They have multiple high level NFL prospects and their defense is legit. Everyone else has lost anyways so who else goes ahead of them?

My comment about them being #3 was hitting on the other point, where you could swap any of the top 8 or 10 teams outside of georgia right now, and i wouldnt consider it wrong. No one has played consistently enough, or looked great enough to make me think they are for sure one of the top teams.
Well there’s Purdue’s yearly win over a top ten team before they finish .500i know that feeling. When Iowa has a bad year, that is the only highlight of it.
Tennessee should've won...(https://www.fsegames.eu/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fs3.amazonaws.com%2Fpix.iemoji.com%2Fimages%2Femoji%2Fapple%2Fios-12%2F256%2Ftriangular-flag.png&hash=5b9904daef8df911c6504b63a99b0ba7651b07b0)
Tenn hung in there with Bama but couldnt get any stops.Georgia in my opinion is far and above the rest of the teams mainly because of that defense. Once their offense gets healthier they will be alot better. Cinn and Oklahoma don't look like the #2 & #3 teams in the country. Cinn had their worst game against a 1-5 Navy team. Oklahoma has looked like trash all year struggling against the easiest teams on their schedule. They should honestly move Bama and OSU to #2 & #3 even with 1 loss. Although they both have 1 loss Bama's was by a last-second FG and PSU was vs the #10 team in the country. Wake Forest might actually go undefeated but they probably won't have a single big win on their resume if they do. The taunting penalty in the OSU vs ISU game is just shocking. It seems like the NCAA & the NFL are trying to ruin football more and more each year. At this point idk what league is softer the NBA or the NFL. I excited to see who comes out on top in the Michigan vs Michigan State game next week and towards the end of the year. The big 10 or the Sec might have 2 teams in the CFP when the season is over. That Penn State vs Illinois game was brutal to watch but man that was a great win for Brett Bielema. That game gave me PTSD of the LSU vs Texas A&M game from a few years ago.
Oklahoma got away with that hand off at the end of the game. Play should of been called dead. Ill say it again, no one looks great this year.
Ill going in and beating Penn state was very surprising. Iowa despite having an anemic offense showed that they were vulnerable to a strong run game. Ill capitalized.
ISU vs OSU was pretty good. That unsportsmanlike conduct call might have been one of the worse in football history. I wasnt sure on that spot at the end of the game, since that player looked like they were on top of their teammate, but there were too many bodies in the way to overturn it. OSU receivers made some great catches.
OSU looks like the team to beat in the Big 10.
Purdue naturally loses to Wis.
Nov in the Big 12 and Big 10 should be really entertaining.
Yea, their chances of getting in outside a ton of shake up ahead of them are slim. They would have to utterly dominate their opponents to have a chance.
Ok way back in 8th despite being undefeated isnt surprising.
Im not sure about bama being #2.
The other teams are about where i expect them except for Iowa. They arent playing like a top 25 team.
Should be a fun Nov.

The committee purposely unranked SMU and Houston so that Cincinnati has no chance of beating another top 25 team, thus preventing them from advancing in the rankings. It's a blatant slap in the face to the group of 5. Cincinnati has more NFL talent than most teams in the top 15 (and more than Michigan State who is top 4). They literally just played Georgia last year and lost in a very close contest on a last second field goal. This years team is even better than last year and has arguably the best road win in the country against Notre Dame.

I believe they will be expanding the playoffs in the next few years. Only doing top 4 was dumb. You always leave at least one conference out, and you make the group of 5/non affiliated teams have super low chance of ever getting in.
In a year like this, anyone can beat anyone. There were discussions before about giving #1 or #1 and #2 having a game off basically while the rest played.
The issue with expanding the numbers is nobody wants to watch the #1 or #2 schools just beat up on the 7th and 8th seeds. Just seems like a waste of games and a chance for many of these NFL bound players to get injured. Similar to how many NFl bound players would skip the bowls their colleges get accepted to.

Plus, how many players would pass up a chance at a national title to skip for the NFL? Outside of preventing them from being injured in game, would it help their draft stock?
I dont recall a #1 seed winning it all yet. i wouldnt say that a top seed would dominate the lower ones all the time.(This does depend how far they expand it)

FCS does a 16 team playoff. No reason FBS can't pull off something similar too with smaller numbers

The biggest concern with adding too many teams, is overlapping with NFL playoffs and superbowl. Unless they move games up before the holidays. Personally, i am not opposed to 12 or 16 teams. I think 8 will be what they go to first.
Not trying to see Alabama just shit on whoever the 8th seed is. The only way it could happen is if the weather is ass, and I'm pretty sure they'll play inside a dome, or someshit think at max six would be fine.
Oklahoma plays a good team and can’t do anything what a surprise
Cincinnati just blew out their toughest remaining opponent I think they’re in.Notre Dame is making a case with how they are playing in the second half of the season. However, that won't matter if Bama can beat Auburn and Georgia.
CJ Stroud is the only one I didn’t bet to win the Heisman so this sucks. His receivers should all get it. Best receiving corps in the entire country and it isn’t even a little close.
Notre Dame might be making a case too 👀
