In Development - B&I 3.0 - old thread

So I may or may not have mentioned that there was something that might be slightly larger than we'd all originally thought in progress with B&I... And this may or may not tell you about it.

We will be replacing all the current skins with models that were originally made by Docm30 (L'Aigle) for Hinkel and North and South (which I have been doing a few small things for). The models are being retextured and altered to bring the quality of general stuff up to a magnificent standard, just for you guys!

I'd like to take this opportunity to say a big "THANK YOU" to Hinkel, who's allowing Blood and Iron to use his models! (Go play North and South, and show your support for Hinkel and his team and the upcoming N&S update)

I did, but it was a month ago and is not very much of news. Like I didn't mean any harm, i did see all of these things i was just asking its still on etc..

It's only been two weeks since that update Yes, we're still working on the mod; no, I won't give out a release date until the mod is ready to be released; when we have things of proper note to post we'll post them.

Don't forget that we're not a company dedicated to the mod, we're two (awesome) guys that do this in our free time

Cool! Can I ask will there be Hungarian Units in the Century or Micro Factions? Since I can see the Hungarian flag in the faction's flag but dont see any unit. Also will there be more US Units as well? Or at least flag barrier for the US units.

The next update is gonna flesh out the US and Japan with their own factions with units. I'm pretty certain that will include a US Flag Bearer.
Not sure about a specific Hungarian Unit. I mean Austria-Hungary was a thing, but I'm sure both parts had their own unique uniforms since the military was split a little.

Century and micro factions aren't gonna be in anymore, so either way, you're not gonna see the Austro-Hungarian soldiers. Although , I do recall seeing a soldier with a greatcoat and shako, with the leaf, in the Micro Faction's troop selection.

Yeah, he was the Austrian Unit, but I recall people being unhappy with the uniform overall.

Well I am just saying, that in this era right now around 1848-49, there was a Hungarian revolution of 1848 against the AUSTRIANS, so I doubt there would be austria-hungara anymore lol, That is why I was asking why can't we have a Hungarian soldier unit then as well.

Austria Hungary was formed in 1867 and lasted until 1918. And that revolution failed for the Hungarians anyway. So if they were to exist in this mod, they would be fighting for the Dual Monarchy.
