That armor looks familiar, did it originate in England? I have a book of armors but I don't recall seeing it.

It looks like 16th century English plate armor, but I can't talk with certainty since I don't have a clue about its origin.

I assume it is maybe a armour for jousting?

Edit: I looked at the source of the image, It's from a zombie survival guide. So that is a dead end :/ (pun intended)
