I love Pirate games and this has promise
Do you need somebody who can actually record a high quality video without their computer exploding? It seems all the videos either have trial version 30 second limit with watermark or your computer is just taking a shit with 10FPS xD

pirating isnt an option and 30 second clips from the fraps demo is all he needs
It is low quality because the clips are combined in Movie MakerUh, no. Movie Maker allows for very good compression levels, just like any basic video editor does. It's the Codex that the video encoder is using that makes it artificed.

excusme i got B in final IT exam. I think i kno what i tall abpoiut. the sony vegas vids look cooler in 720p than movie maker so u wreng i rigte. sonty vegas does the betta vids than all other crap underpriced softwares on internet.
Greenlight is on borrowed time, so I am going to do this game a favour and sticky it in the forums and encourage everyone who'd enjoy it to vote for it on Greenlight and pass the news around about it.Thanks ;D just to let you know its a concept. Not a steam release.

I would like to see them have to ram from the front myself. Currently you must only click on the cannons 4 times to finish ramming.

This game looks awesome. Do you need to sign up for alpha? Or is it available to buy?
Interesting video as far as damage shown is concerned.Players will be able to throw buckets of water on fire, but that hasn't yet been implemented. Chopping up a mast sounds hilarious, but I don't know if that would bode well when you have 15 other guys coming at you with every kind of weapon ;D
My thing however is this: does this mean damage control will also be implemented? an example would be throwing a bucket of water (or sand) on the flames in the movie or, since you've implemented melee, chop up a mast and throw it over the side?
