I tried my self but I couldn't do it. A straight bayonet for the French.The bayonet at the time was curved like that, its not a modeling error.

Actually, if you look closely, you can see the enemy is Austrian Grenadiers. That picture is from the Second Italian War of Independence, which is yet another war under Napoleon III.
EDIT: I was considering making a SIWI mod before deciding on CW. I chose Crimea as all which was involved in SIWI was France, Sardinia, and Austria. A bit less interesting...

I was considering making a SIWI mod before deciding on CW. I chose Crimea as all which was involved in SIWI was France, Sardinia, and Austria.
In the future if you ever reconsider picking this idea up, you could always make Austria two factions, and staff one with Austrian units and the other with Hungarian and Czechs.

But you should NOT replace the prussian sounds with this mod because they sound like a tiger scratching its' claws against a metal plate.

You have the material made, but the texture isn't actually imported, make sure you import texture into the brd or mmtextures.
Yes you still haven't imported the texture, it can show up in the materials without being imported, if you click on that diffuseA it will lead you know where, you must import the texture.
