Title: The 8th Virginia Infantry Regiment

Just creating this to revive the thread on the 8th Virginia since the old thread has been inactive and not posted on in many months due to the regiment disbanding in October of 2018. We have been active since March 5th 2019 when NAS saw a revival in the NA community and currently host all NA events. The old 8th Virginia was disbanded/put inactive when we moved to NW to play as the 8thEPI back in October of 2018. We were handed down rights to the regiment by the old Colonel (MrMan) who retired from the game in February. We have officially reformed the 8th Virginia with Change (me) as the new Colonel and Lopez as Lieutenant Colonel.

I was wondering when you would finally post this. I can hereby confirm the stated above is true. The rights to the name have officially transferred over to Lopez and Change. The only edit I would make is that the regiment has never disbanded, it only went inactive due to Nas temporarily fizzing out and becoming dead. The 8thVA has been continuously an active regiment since it’s founding on February 16th 2015, and has seen the likes of 6 Colonels now. Fearsome, Wubby, Foxy, MrMan, Lopez, and now Change. With me leaving for the US Army in 6 days, I have passed on command and full rights of the regiment to Vitor as of July 22nd, 2019. I trust he will keep this legacy going as I and past colonels have for years. I trust he will do his best as Colonel of the regiment with LtCol Lopez to assist him.
