Amazing match from Italy´s part, what an incredible comeback, Turkey also did a great job in the beggining, sad that they did let go that momentum they had.

I have seen a few comebacks, but nothing like this before, from 7-3 to 7-8, i think that this should work as an example of how to not let yourself go in such situations, a battle is never lost until your last men has died This proves that the mind game and the winning spirit also play a factor in 1v1s

On a skill overview, nothing really particular appart from some swords jumped with the horse (UgoroBi) and one or two hard-to-do blocks.

I couldnt have asked for a better match to start the cup, what a show.

And yeah, well, I can't recall of any comeback, both Cavalry and Infantry Cup wise, (except maybe the Finland vs UK in 2013, for the NWEC) as huge as this one. Looks promising for the rest of the competition and the other matchs of Group B.

Hope we'll have something has tense for France and Germany!

Congratulations to both Turkey and Italy. It was a hell of a match, very tense until the very end. The two teams fought very well, I think everyone agrees on that. That come-back from Italy was indeed amazing, never seen such a thing in 3 years+ of playing. "You did what was impossible", General Hollidt wasn't lying about the italian horsemen.

It was, as Darklight rightly said, the most epic way to start this tournament.
Looking forward to the rest of the week, now.
