New England Army Saturday Event
« on: December 14, 2016, 05:19:54 pm »

For the time being the events are prosponed to the 7th of January 2017.
Due to upcomming holidays such as Christmass and New Year.
We have about 20 spots left for another regiment so contact Colonel Ashford (Space Aristocrat) from HMMF if you want in on the event.

The event will planned out with different scenarios both historical and non historical.
Containing different phases hold/attack/retreat and similar with each side playing specific roles.
Some of the scenarios will be more "strict" and pre-planned and some more open for each regiment to make their own decision but still work towards a certain goal.

The event will start at 20:00 GMT (british time).

Quote from: Tardet
Merci, bonsoir.

Keep in mind that this event has nothing to do with the ones hosted by me on 3rd and 10th of December, and is a complete another event hosted by Hugo from 32nd. Using the same name and the idea shows the lack of creativity by these hosters. The video material shown does not stand for this event, as it is completely another.

Don't use footage of my event and claim it is yours, when it clearly isn't. Instead try to use your own.

I do however wish good luck to this new event as it does look promising

If you dont want people to record your event dont let them? You don't own the videos they are free to show. They include the 32nd (host) who are a large majority shown in the clips without them your event would have been different + hugo and staff who now run this. It was you maps sure it goes 50/50 not 100/0

Don't use footage of my (OUR) event and claim it is yours (OURS), when it clearly isn't (IS).
Then force the youtubers to remove it

Thank you for you good wishes. That is kind.

However this comment you made leaves me no choice but to sum up a few things up in order to sketch a better picture for people looking into joining this event. ( I regret I have to do this, but you leave us no choice).

First of all, you appear to point your finger at me in person and my regiment the 32nd. However this event  is a combined effort from all the regiments and their leaders, that are listed above in the spoilers. These regiment leaders appointed me to set up a proper event, since you dropped the ball.

Second to that, you claim that this event is "yours"?! However from the very start of this event, it has been a group effort. Where you were actively involved in, however when we talk about the amount of percentages of the work you actually did by yourself, you barely hit the 15%. On top of that the work you were supposed to do, mapping, failed. Therefor your statement that we lack the creativity and idea's, is completely dismissed.

And third, when you decide to pull the plug out the server, during a battle in the event. You made a grave mistake of how many people will remember this. Not only the regimental leaders but also their communities. That is 200+ people. At moment were we try to continue our work and set up a great event for the Warband community, but we constantly run into your comments on our thread's
Spoiler
(both the Army/Regiment and the Event threads)
[close]
, in which we no longer need or want your help, as one may understand.

And trough all of this, it appears to me, how lonely you must be that you are willing to take it up to an entire community. Consider this our final "discussion" for we don't want anything to do with you.

And to the people who are not involved and still reading this. I feel sorry that you have to read this however it is necessary that it has been said. Thank you.

For the time being I have to Decline the regiments listed above and any further signups from today or tomorrow. Our event has reached the max amount of players. After the event of Saturday 17th of December (17-12-2016) there will be a pause. Reason being that the next 2 Saturdays will be on Christmas and new years celebrations. So I would kindly ask to sign up again for the 7th of January (7-1-2017). This is when the next event will be, and we will possibly look into having 2 servers for the event. If however that is manageable and if we have enough regimental sign-ups. Thank you for showing your interest and see you hopefully soon! ^^
