I was playing the game when it was first released as a beta testing. I thought it was great back then. It's got to be much better now. Will download it and play when I get home from work tonight, for sure.

I love it. The whole "Bolt Action Rifle" being the main arm for soldiers adds more preference on marksmanship.

You should have updated the thread we already have. It's an okay game, but much overhyped. It feels like CoD set in WW1, the gunplay is about as uninteresting as you can get.

Sounds like a ringing endorsement to me!   ;D

The Lebel feels really nice in it. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes CoD.

Feel free to rupture my bumhole if I'm making an unfair comparison, but how good is this game compared to Red Orchestra 2 in terms of gameplay and game mechanics?

Basically, Verdun would be CoD, Red Orchestra would be Battlefield.
RO is far more advanced and developed.

So, what you saying is that I can't get PTSD from this game like I can from RO2

I just tried it and it's pretty fun, but melee doesn't seem to do any damage  :-\

In theory we could do huge player numbers far over 500 players per server...  As such we will surely keep our promise to deliver you the 500 players per server.

We will probably go (far) over it, but that's for later.
