Side quests are great, stop doing the Minutemen shit. Stop complaining about the graphics, they're a huge improvement from FNV and that's all that really matters to me.

Huge improvement from nv lmao this game looks like a 2005 console game with updated anti-aliasing. NV may not be as shiny but at least it doesn't burn my eyes when I play it.

this some good shit
[close]

It depends on what you like I guess, the past themes have been kind of dark and depressing with not many colours. New Vegas is just a barren desertland so it's go this gloomy orange-y theme to it. I enjoyed the visuals of Fallout 4 because of its vibrant colours which is a change to the usual gloomy wasteland atmosphere, plus with all the 50s style n' all.

This. ^

Also the graphics are fucking great, a massive improvement for the series and overall one of the better looking games i have seen recently. I do think they could have removed some filters but still looks absolutely grand.

When I start the game, it says "Fallout 4 has stopped working" each time even after changing the options and trying to run in windowed mode. Waiting for the patch, although I'm most likely am going to need a new PC/laptop in order to play this game.

It's a 4 year old Lenovo Thinkpad X220i which High School gave us. It has an integrated Intel HD family graphics card, which is quite bad for running latest games.

You are far, far below even the minimum specs. I'm surprised your PC hasn't melted yet when you tried to run it.

Would an Alienware 17 laptop be a good investment for latest games such at this?

isnt Alienware overpriced or something? That's what I always heard. You would be better off getting a desktop.

Alienware is garbage and so are most gaming laptops. If you absolutely must get a laptop, just look for one that has good specs on amazon. Any laptop branding itself specifically for gaming is going to be overpriced as hell.
