can’t wrap my head around jaax and cwater being in t2 but other than that looks good nephew

cant wrap my head around that cwater cheats, never seen much of jaax heard hes quite good. But what was jaax doing in 2015-2016 when the game was at its peak?

also the update ruined the game catering to skeyers and boring meleers like cwater godfreid etc...
why does it matter when the game peaked?
you mean back when there wasn't only 20 competitive players? That's one reason lol
Ig 80 players for James's league and 72 players for Risk's league = 20 players
still nothing compared to what it use to be
Cool. 500 bots vs 80 people that know how to block

I usually dont agree with Bill but. To be fair it wasnt 500 bots then and if all 80 people knew how to block now your Jedis team wouldve made the finals.... instead of jaax killing himself to drop over 40 kills a map and you guys still losing because you couldnt block.
if we were going up against old gens we all would have got 40 kills

My hot takes

Tier 1 Changes

- Godfreid, Bill, Ap0c, Ritz, Havoc (No disrespect to any of these players I just don't think they matchup quite with the other tier 1 players and fall more along the lines of the current tier 2 players, Godfreid is super close due to the longterm duel dominance and regimental impacts)

Tier 2 Changes

- Alexander, Breaches, Colonys, Kovy, Mang, Zorkoth, NickCole, Puppytron, Rafael

+ Vortex

Tier 3

+ Horse, PJ, Karth (Not even on list??), Krastinov

Tier 4

- Boob, Dragonpuff, Mitchell, Gamechanger, PsychoTwinz (which one tho), Scopes

+ BabyJesus, Risk, Ser Wall, Pedro, Red Viper, Gavin (Not even on list??), ghostrider (not on list???)

Other people not on it I think that should be somewhere, probably tier 4/5

James, Tico, Vertildr, Fartknocker, Jorge, Ryner/Lucifer, Blade, Armada, Red Wall, Dodge, Ritz407, Hunter, Stryker

Sorry if I missed someone or someone was there and I said they weren't

Helpful sources to go along with my opinions

* another note I can probably clarify on more when I’m home but differentiating the top 3 tiers

1- always dominant or very good, staples of the melee community
2- top player for extended time, very good for a long time - broke the glass
3- almost broke the glass but fell short, periods of being good but also periods of being avg/below avg. or not enough time played to warrant quite yet (horse has broken the glass and soon would be considered tier 2)

Whoever thinks Karth should be on a melee list just needs to get a reality check. At no point in his career was he even average at melee

Movement key moment
it’s melee and regimental so I think him leading the 63e elevates him a lot

^ This

Karth actually has a decent amount of placements too, although he wasn't "the man" on the field by any means (unless there was a hill on the map) he does fit the tier 4 (MAX) criteria. I'll post the criteria again in case some people missed my previous post about it.

Karth has the longevity because his reign of winning started from 2013 and stopped in 2015, regimental impact I'm sure he had some what of an influence on because it's the 63e. He placed in 7 tournaments (beating Bill or Mang in one duel tournament?), and Karth was a two way player, but max he's getting is tier 4.

- Longevity/consistency (how long you were a top/good/decent player… NOT how long you’ve been playing)
- Regimental impact (top 5 player/melee impact)
- Tournaments & leagues impact (wins/losses)
- Two or one way player

I always remembered Karth being above average, held his own in the gfing tournaments 63e logic won and placed in.

Fireboy could probably vouch or bash more

I guess all of these are just based off of random tournaments as opposed to actual skill though. This list would be entirely different with actual skill factored in
