Hello guys.

A small notice.

I have finished configuring a new hosting enviroment for the website and forum and soon all will be moved to the new host.
This will mean some downtime especially during switching over the forum.

Things will probably be finished within 24 hours once we start which will be this evening or tomorow morning.

The new host will be in the cloud, which will be much faster and more reliable. so no more forum crashes.

Also were making this step for the future so we are ready for any new wave of new members ;)

One more question ; Can threads go back to being over 100 pages or will they still be locked after hitting 100?

Hey if you're changing forum visuals, I've always wanted a different theme for FSE rather than the light default one. For example a dark theme? It seems to be a common characteristic on most forums and I think a lot of people might enjoy a dark theme.

Could add several themes like TaleWorlds has and let the users choose which theme they wish to use themselves. Only issue is that some themes might conflict with mods that are installed on the website.

I won't spend my time on making a new theme but I might look into downloading some premade themes.
I can make it so that you can choose different themes, that is no problem.

Maybe when I am bored. It is of no real priority.

That would be really nice

But I hear a lot of the FSE mods would bug with different themes? Is there a way to get around that like just not applying the theme for something like the Donation section for instance?

I know about the problems, Its in the database settings, im tweaking them all the time right now and restarting the DB server often this is why things are sometimes slower.

Were a few days into the forum move, how is the performance for you guys now?

Ever get long response times? hangings? when exactly if it happens, on opening pages, or on making posts?

If you have a time and intrest.

We can add more mods to the forum,

I was upgrading the database table engine to InnoDB, so that could give those problems. :)

Is the FSE symbol showing up in browser tabs new? Previously I just got a blank square or something like that. The FSE symbol showed up around the time the server change happened, I think.

edit; overall though it's been smoother for me, other than a little connection problem that's fine now. The small additions do make the forum a lot nicer though as well.

I added it, though i don't think it is that super intrestring, it just references some spam thread in the mess hall.

im guessing it was one of the tourney threads, as we created a new sub board, so the tourneys are being moved there.

I ran a recount of all posters posts on the forum.. i guess some things got counted badly up before and now got properly redone..
