Groupfighting Mapping Series

Egyptian Battle
The first one is based on Napoleon's Egyptian campaign but no real battle or anything just the setting. I plan on making maps for the 1erVL and 1stFKI groupfighting servers, any others are free to use with proper credits.

I'd like to make a suggestion.

On your shooting range, I recommend you add the targets that are round and report distance and whatnot that was on the training map we used when I was in the FKI.

Remember? I'd love if you add a shooting range like that in on this, it'd be more helpful then you could ever believe. :D

I like your style kid.

I do suggest however, that when making small maps like that, you should put the buildings in the background just a little bit higher, it gives a much grander feel to the battle. Try making it so that none of the border terrain is visible in town scenes, you can even completely remove the background terrain if you wish. Being a small map you can definitely go crazy with details.

Also, just a bit of nitpicking, when taking screenshots, turn all of your graphics options all the way up. It's just for the screenshots after all.

Yeah, some/most of them were slighty elevated but I couldn't go too far. Or it would be totally unrealistic how high.

My graphics were low to ensure that my computer wouldn't crash if I picked a high resolution object. It's bound to happen.

Thanks for the support, but I've lost interest in mapping. I might resume it, however I lack reason to do so.

I'm going to remember how to make maps and start pumping out quick linebattle maps in the coming days. Perhaps a groupfighting map for 7NA server.
