Hello, and welcome to the Confederate States Army Thursday Night event. We welcome all North and South and Napoleonic Regiments to our event. Although many believe the mod is dead, there still thrives events on Saturdays, Tuesdays, and Sundays. Dedicated community host these events. Rules are pretty standard and simple. Hosting this event in Napoloenic, is just to spread our name and make new friends. Any question regarding this event, please add me on steam at Brigadier General Killobytes. Until then, I look forward to seeing you on the battlefield!



| Information |
- Event every Thursday from 8pmEST to 9pmEST
-Yes, if you attend the event, you can apply for ingame admin
- Signups are conducted on the Confederate States Army Teamspeak. A regiment representative needs to be on the TS 30 minutes prior to the event (7:30pmEST)
- Information needed to signup will be your current numbers for attending, and of course the specialty you like to be

| Rules for the Event |

General Rules

- All charge will be called if the round proves to be stagnant
- Max of 1 officer, Flag and Musician per reg if you want, counts against your unit allowed total
- Units may not split into separate parts and operate independently
- No musketoons or rockets
- buffs will depend on server load and potential lag
- No trolling when its live(aka; teamkilling, teamwounding, kicking, obstructing artillery, etc.)
- If an Admin asks a question only Regiment leaders should respond (probably be done via steam).
- Extreme use of Profane or abusive language, taunting, spamming, racial or ethnic slurs in chat or names will not be tolerated
- No ramboing please!
- If your unit gets down to 2 men you must join another unit and you may act like whatever unit you joined.*
- *The exception is artillerists which may continue to operate until they all die.
- If any unit is attacked such as 2 men looking to join a unit it may defend itself including firing or melee.
- Regiments adopting an anti-cav formation may fire and reload as available while also having some members using melee tactics. Must maintain their anti cav formation.
- If a Regiment LEADER has an issue with something or someone during the Linebattle, please contact one of the admins. Do not take unilateral action (again, via steam).
- Regiments are expected to maintain their normal formation when moving across the map and may break into attack/charge formation only when they are within 100 yards of their intended target
- When charging remain within proxity of your unit, 10 spaces to the next closest man or less, if I see someone taking a wide path (I have seen 20-40 yards) they will be considered a rambo
- NO CHEATING! (that covers everything I didn't write into the rules that you might try and take advantage of!!!)
- Fire on charge is allowed, however you may not Reload while in melee.
- Fire on charge is NOT allowed for cavalry, but mounted officers may fire the pistol (also includes an all charge).
- No exploiting glitches on various maps.

Line Infantry

- 3 men make a line, You may fire when in a line formation and static.
- Allowed 1/2 man spacing, You may not crouch while firing or reloading.
- May crouch when not in combat.
- Must move out in a line.
- May ONLY be armed with an Infantry Musket!
- May only take line infantry class

Skirmishers (Includes Light Infantry)

- Maximum of 15 players
- Maximum of 5 man spacing, but must maintain cohesion.
- No musketoons
- May crouch and take cover behind items

Artillery/Artillery Guard

- 2 cannons allowed maximum. No rockets.
- Maximum of 12 players.
- Arty guard cannot act as skirmishers unless within 5 paces of an active cannon. If outside 5 paces, or no active cannons, must act as line infantry.
- 1 sapper maximum. 100bps for each team. Do not spam bps.

Cavalry

- Max of 15 players (If more, they must form their own infantry line)
- If two or less players remain, they must dismount.
- If it is a ranged unit, i.e. dragoons, they must line up to fire.
- During an all charge, cavalry may still not Fire on Horseback (excluding the Officer with Pistol)
- Dismounted cavalry act as skirmishers, and so will follow light infantry rules.
- During an all charge, should the number of cavalry drop below 3, the remaining 1-2 must dismount and fight in melee
