In the discussion beforehand, some members mentioned they didn't think Community Representative is a good name - it of course also has some negative memories to it. Please discuss whether you like the current name, or wish (and know) better ones.
-
i think "supreme chancellor" would be a much more befitting title
-
Let's try to keep it serious.
-
The Internet Policeman
-
Elected Representative - NA or EU
-
I dont think there is anything wrong with "Community Representative"
-
I think the term Chairman of Toxicity will be far more atp.
But if the representative is a tumor, go ahead.

Me neither. They are representing the community.
-
Community Representative looks good for me.
-
Perhaps 'Community Manager'; however, 'Representative' looks fine...
-
Community Representative ain't bad
-
Community Manager is something completely different and quite often an actual job. The Community Representative would have very limited powers. The name is fine.

Hi, my name is Ralph and I am the Community Manager of the Flying Squirrel Entertainment forums. :^) 8) 8)

I'm fine with Community Representative.
Don't really see the need to change it.

If you are trying to show a stronger link between the Community and the members of the Community, the title of Ambassador would work better in my opinion. Seeking that these elected persons would be tasked with improving relations, organizing creatain community entertainment, and executing new ideas, the title of Ambassador would be appropriate.

That's a good point.

How about "Community Liaison"
That's basically just a synonym for representative
-
But it sounds better.

snip.
If that is how you feel, then go else where. You don't have to troll these forums.

I was thinking something along the lines of 'Democratically-Elected-in-a-fair-unbiased-election Community Moderator for the Benefit of the community' is a good title. Might be a bit too long though.
-
how about ''why are we doing this again?''
-
Lord Protector
-
+1
Lord Protector is what we want.
-
Instead of naming it "Community Representative," why not name it "Community Support?" That fits the job role better.
I second this.
-
How about Reichsführer?

Lord Protector is what we want.
We need a Oliver Cromwell 2.0
