Game of Thrones peaked around season 3/4 for me and has been getting worse ever since-it's still an amazing show and I enjoy watching it but it's just not as good as it used to be. Whole thing started to feel rushed during season 6 too and I fear it will be like that x10 for seasons 7 and 8 considering D&D are bored and want to move on to other things (nothing stopping them from handing over to someone else of course, so I don't understand why they're hanging on).
Just lots of silly decisions being made ever since they ran out of original source material (I mean wtf was that Smalljon Umber character arc last season lol) and the story just isn't as clever or surprising to me as a viewer.
