I built mine myself too. However, it was really annoying. So when I buy a new one I'll have to think about assembling it myself or letting the professionals do that.

It's always a worry, especially when you try to turn it on and it doesnt come to life!

Heard secretlab chairs are very good. I have a GXT gaming chair myself and it is much more comfortable than a regular office chair.
