Does anyone know how the admin white list system works in NW? Or where you are meant to enter the player's ID.
Tried entering this into my config file:
admin_white_list_enabled 1
admin_white_list_key 1223513 (example ID)
and it didn't do anything.
Also, was wondering how you would normally go about banning a player without being in game? Is this done via console or somewhere else?
Thanks.

about the white list it should have worked tbh maybe add a space lol
ban_list.txt u just add his id and he is perm banned u can also write something like a date or reason he was banned or whatever u like only the id matters

Thanks. Tried a space and a few other things and it still won't work. Is it just in the config.txt file i need to put these, or somewhere else as well?

all you have to do is take the config file the server uses to boot up and do something like this.
admin_white_list_enabled 1
admin_white_list_key 11111111111# Thunderstormer
admin_white_list_key 2222222222# Sleekcrush
admin_white_list_key 33333333333# Savolainen5
admin_white_list_key 44444444444# Munro
admin_white_list_key 55555555555# Menelaos
admin_white_list_key 6666666666666 # LittleGuy
add as many as you want. then start the server up.
you should be able to go into the console box and manually add ids there, or turn the white list on or off. those will not stay when you reboot the server.
ban list can be manually added to, not this is only temp bans
11111111111111 # Betty_The_Bomber
22222222222 # Betty_The_Bomber
333333333 # Betty_The_Bomber
# 444444444 # Betty_The_Bomber
the last one is how you properly unban someone. that way you know they were banned before, and maybe even leave a note as to why they were banned, or other useful stuff.

So is it as simple as putting these lines into the config and running server, or would I need to do the thing with the console as well? I have tried doing it it the config (though not with that particular spacing) and it didn’t seem to work. Note, I am using an online server through Oasis hosting....having some difficulty getting console to properly load.

you wouldn't need to do stuff in the console if you saved the stuff in the server config file and launched with it.
you could always just do stuff manually in the console for testing.
