I highly encourage all regiment leaders and members to read these rules. We will have a number of custom maps selected for each event. This should decrease, if not completely eliminate, the time between map changes. The plan is to have new maps every week if possible. Be creative. Anything that isn't against the rules is allowed. Admins reserve the right to change the rules at any time and plan on doing so to keep the game moving. Like some of you have mentioned, this is indeed my last event. I joined the world of NW sometime in July 2018. I had played a little North and South back in 2016 but most of my previous time was in Holdfast which I played at launch. Upon switching games, I quickly learned how different the two communities were. Looking back upon the decision I am glad I made it. It's been a blast fighting and playing either with or against yinz. I'm finally ready to move away.
GingaJosh and the 2ndHan have volunteered to take over the Monday event slot. I'm sure some of you will bitch and moan about this. They want to run an event and the Thursday event will most likely never happen. While the thought of Josh fighting for one of the weekend events would be slightly amusing I think giving up my day would be a far more civil transition for the community. They will also be using this thread for their event. I will edit the page after my event has concluded. Josh's spec signups are at 9:30 pm est after the event.
The Monday event was the only thing holding me here for a long time. Without it I am free. I look forward to my last day of hosting and my last day in NW.

Why is there only 1 arty spot available?
Do skirmisher rules apply to light infantry (besides spacing) and if not what are the rules for light infantry?
What is the spacing rule for lining up as infantry? No spacing, 1/2 spacing?
Will the rules actually be enforced unlike some other events?
What server is going to be used (if not hms can I have admin on it to help enforce rules)?

At one point I thought about doing a reward system to let people do stuff like that. I'd run a webserver with a K/D based scoring system. Regiments would submit their member's GUIDs so I could track their individual and regimental performances across multiple events. After accumulating enough points the regiment could exchange them for stuff like rocket arty, skirms, and other in game bonuses. While it would be cool it's not really worth the effort.

but in all honesty, probably my most favorite event I look forward to each week. Beautifully fast paced rounds and Copot does his best to try to ensure teams are as balanced as possible

Tbh I don't really have the motivation to come back. I did make plans on some rule changes and game edits and fully expected myself to relaunch the event but, it's nice to just focus on playing the game for a change. However, I am touched by the fact that this event ran not because people wanted to play on Mondays, but because they actually liked my hosting.
