I have another question that I saw at the 58e vs. 4th scrim today.
The 58e was running two officers, and the one in the back not currently leading was shot, is that officer aim? Why or why not?

I would consider it officer aim. A lot of regiments these days use the "reverse march" command where the officer in the back would immediately take charge of the line, so both of the officers are leading the line during a round.

I don't there should only be one officer, there is no need for two

That is just your opinion, many regiments do a lot better using 2 officers. It makes it especially easy to do a reverse march because then everyone knows who is now in command of the line and the person now in command also knows what he is doing and where to position himself.

Exactly he puts a player in the back and as him as officer just to have a sword. And so he wont get shot so he can melee. the person in the front doesn't need to lead. I could lead from spectator if i wanted
