As a note I think it is important to tailor the group stages so that the tournament can have a competitive and exciting end in the single elimination section. At the moment a lot of higher tier teams are bunched together. For example group A has 71st, 18th, 5th, 63e. These regiments are contenders for the grand finals. If they're getting knocked out in the groups then a lot of the most exciting matches (the matches people will want to watch being casted!) will already be concluded by the time we reach the end of the tournament.

This is just my observation as a long time community member and regiment leader in the competitive side of NW. I'm sure there are lots of varying opinions when it comes to tampering with tournament match ups.
Feel free to ask me (or any other well known leader for that matter) for my opinion on placements if you decide to change the groups.

Why do you want to be a referee?     I have fun reffing events from the NANWL and admining 5th events sometimes. I like to see fair play and also like to poke a little fun at some people during the event, all in good-spirit.
Why do you think you would be a good referee?   I'm very fair and unbiased, I rarely get angry at anyone and am very laid back. I also hate cheating, and will do whatever it takes to prevent another regiment from gaining an unfair advantage.

Personally I think that these "higher tier regiments regiments" should have the same odds of elimination as everyone else.  I am also sure Jorge had his motives for placing these regiments in a group together.  Along with that, I think it it completely possible to have fun and exciting to watch matches without these regiments.
