Pike and shot formations definitely worked well against bots in the Deluge. It's be interesting to see how it plays out against players.

Yes, i would like to see how using pikes offensively would work out in this game.

Also, i have a suggestion to the devs. I suggest incorporating Rifles, known as 'studsare' into the Swedish army as a weapon for officers.

A studsare is a short barreled rifle, the word derives from German ' stutzen ' which developed into schutzen. This arm was used by sharp shooters and was commonly associated as a officer weapon. I read about it today in Peter Englund's ' Poltava ' where he mentions both sides having these sharpshooter but does not go into any detail of the Russians, only mentioning they have sharpshooters.

Even if if you don't want to have it in the officer class i am sure you can find a way to incorporate it  :)

The Russians too had these shorted rifled muskets, almost all purchased abroad, and also borrowed the German word Stutzen or Stutzer, which became Штуцер (Shtutser), to describe them. They were mostly found in the dragoons and generals' body guards, among officers and hand-picked marksman. They didn't start manufacturing their own until the 1720s. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the rifles at Poltava were taken from Swedish casualties at Lesnaya etc.

Good to see an update, but the uniforums are far to clean in my opinion, try to make the colours look like the uniforums are used in the battlefield ;)

Just leave it be for now. Let them get what they need to do first done, then they can go back and add all the petty details to things, such as the dirt and signs of use... Excellent work, btw on the update. Loving the Swedish Dalregementet uniform.

There is a bit of dirt on the bottom of the artillery uniform. Picture doesn't show it very well. I will add some to the others.

No, it's the perfect example of someone that's been rolling around in dirt.

Dirt builds up in certain spots, whites yellow and dyes fade, but you don't get covered in dirt like that unless you are rolling in it. Even if a soldier was rolling in dirt, their uniforms had to be washed regularly.
