A question:
Why is Hanover so conected to Britian?
Is it because the king of britaina were from Hanover?
That's about it. The British king was a Hanoverian King for quite some time, so the armies were bound by personal union or some such.

Making skirmishers faster seems kind a badm since they can just go run hide reload.....
But at the same time, cavalry will decimate them utterly and completely. I think that sorts things out.
Unless the devs have an actual counter for it, you'll just have to rely on your horsemen :P

Y...You're making a mod with Hanover in it?

Always found the Hanoverian military to be exceptionally interesting; always wanted to build up the Nr2Verden or Nr5Luneberg as a regiment in NW, but it appears there weren't too many people interested in soldiering in the name of a small country like Hanover. :P

How are you going to handle sharpshooters in Hanoverian companies? Like that pic you posted earlier about the line infantry said, "One section of each company was formed of [sharpshooters]. This section was an old Hanoverian tradition and did not exist in British Line Infantry units." (My French isn't great, but I think that's what it says.) Are you just going to have it in the dropdown menu where you normally select sergeant, color bearer, etc?

Concept looks fantastic, and I'd do anything in my power to help the mod along; you probably already have it, but do you need a copy of Osprey's MAA for the Hanoverian Army? Could help in some fashion. If you give me your steam name I might be able to chat about what I can do for you guys. :D

It's not a glitch, Bots have worse skills to stop the British getting annihilated. Bots and humans don't use the same unit in the code.

the thing is i LIKE going zulu... but u will almost always die like a pigeon out of the sky. when the brits start shooting

and then i cant do anything

i wish there would be tdm zulu servers :)

do u know why there only seems to be battle

It's what the players want, apparently - the mod was designed with PvP (TDM) in mind...

Perhaps, the mod should simply be renamed to something generic, and have all the factions like that, sorta like "Scramble For Africa" did, maybe even add Indian factions in the last stages.

How about we take this mod, perfect it, put it somewhere else, then make a new mod!

Except you see, that would be blatantly stealing our content.

The mod is for the Anglo Zulu war - not for any cultures/regions not involved in the conflict itself. We're all rather set on the time period and war itself, so I doubt you'll find so drastic a change happening.

Well that's an issue of William's PC dying on him; however, according to him, he had enough stuff backed up that we should be able to push out an update sooner rather than later.

Well, we've discussed this prior, and Boers WILL be added, maybe not as their own faction to start with, but eventually, if things progress and the demand is there, a Boer faction might come into existence.

Of course, William's computer died recently, so progress on the mod has been hampered significantly. Could be a while before the next patch.

This mod was made specifically for NW. It's why we use the FSE forums rather than the Taleworlds. :P
If you can get it to work without NW, then more power to you, but as far as I know, (And I've been here since the beginning,) you need NW to play.

Nope, civilian dress, random weapons, they formed commando groups based on where they were from.

Well, certain Boers had semi-uniformed groups, it's not fair to say that they ALL just wore whatever they could put on. But yes, there were few that had a strict "Dress-code" per se.

This one's more of a server problem - people who spam TNT and waste all the build points/lag up everyone's game. Highly frustrating.
