If they do, they can find another event. This is supposed to be realistic and historical, but the other team does not have to win.

No arty. NW artillery is just point and shoot, if people can make effective use of it again fast moving single rank lines, than I can just imagine what it would be in a realism event. Personally I wouldn't attend a realism event with NW artillery, but I love the idea!

We most likely wouldn't allow artillery, but we'll see.

My vote would be for Line and Cav keep it simple for less bull shit, also let regimental commander make there own choices but 1 guy in team chat giving "advice"

Also since I like melee charging I'd feel the  walking till your right next to some one would be lame 50% of your guys would just get shot.

I know how you feel. I would give regiments a chance to run and charge if they'd like if it was a reasonable distance.

NW regiments are way too small to hold a realism event with artillery. I'm not saying each line should be 100 men strong, but at least 50 should be.
