i cant be arsed with nw anymore but id like to share my knowledge with people

Hi Ted,

how can I autoban everyone on a server?

theres a super easy way just modify a couple of words
under scripts when it checks their uniform, instead of kicking from server if they have the wrong uniform
change it so the punishment happens when they have the right uniform
and its a ban

thats one of the many ways to do it
also why you want to ban everyone

I like how, although Betty can't be arsed with NW, he keeps coming back every now and then

How could you make a horse driven cart like in The Deluge ?
Yes seriously i did script a lot of stuff back in the day

You could attach a prop to a horse, and keep them moving together, similar to the cannon script, youd then need to create a walk in mesh where they can jump in, but create a boundary below so they dont fall out of it
then you would need to keep the constants permanent, so they stay attached together the whole time, until destroyed or respawn

Then theres also the problems that neo gk mod had, with their air baloons, where when you get out of boundarys or collide, it explodes killing everybody.

But yes it can be done, but its just a lot of work to put in for a game thats 8 years old :)

How can you make such a "walk in mesh" , or boundary ? I tried to look how it was done for the boat but I could not find something right away...

How can you make such a "walk in mesh" , or boundary ? I tried to look how it was done for the boat but I could not find something right away...
With regards to boundary / meshes like edge of boat killing you sometimes
I think it is hard coded in the mount blade/ warband files that if you get outside of a certain boundary it automatically kills you. 
If you cant get into the hard files a way around it would be to create a new death script where you are permanently allived and death is not possible, unless.....
killed by musket, fists, bayonet, slayed, the standard ways
so no matter how hard it tries to kill you if you are on the edge of a boat or out of a boundary where it tried to auto kill you, it cant.
However are you not referring to that? are you referring to a proper which allows you to stay on it as it moves without you falling through?

I have never been killed by a boundary, maybe I am just lucky, nevertheless I do not really consider it a problem worth fixing if it has not already been fixed officially. I just don't know how to start with a "walk in mesh" which you described, or really I am looking for any way to make a moving vehicle that can carry people around. Much like the boat in NW or like the horse wagons in The Deluge.

Or to tell the truth I was looking for that, I am no longer into modding. Just a question of whether or not you still want to figure it out for the fun of it, but as you said maybe the game is too old to invest much time into modding anymore.

Anyways I appreciate the response you've already given.
