Ohio represents US demographics pretty well.  The southern part is intertwined with Kentucky, so it's southern. The Western part is similar to the plains / west coast which is pretty rural and etc. Which is why Ohio almost has always determined the presidential election winner.

The only real difference is the lack of a decent sized Hispanic community. But hey, they both are founded on the death of natives and resettling of white Americans.

Florida summers can be pretty harsh I heard, it's full of old people, it's nice for a visit though. I'm gonna stay in Ohio.
