I've never been to Mexico, but NYC has so many first generation Mexican immigrants that it's basically just the real deal. I've been to Nicaragua which had top tier food, and Colombia, which had food that was bland and shitty. There's something about colder climates that just doesn't suit good food. My god, what a disappointment. Colombia really broke the illusion in my mind that all Latino food was at least passable.You fucked up at even going to Colombia, I bet even the hot bitches was a lie. Surprised you came back alive. Jamaica has some pretty god damn sea food as well, almost forgot about that. I'm a seafood kind of guy, since I'm in the Keys during Summer, get a lot of that. I found a lot of Caribbean and/or South American places are overrated, honestly, only Peru and the Virgin Islands live up to their expectations, at least from what I visited.
