"Festung Europa" by Jackboot Games (Darkest Hour 2!)

The developers behind the Darkest Hour mod for Red Orchestra: 1939 - 1945 are currently working on their next game based on CryEngine 3. They've committed to create the successor to Darkest Hour, this time as a standalone game. "Festung Europa" is primarily based in the Commonwealth sector of the Normandy invasion front and will feature fierce and realistic combined arms first person combat between the units that were there on large and detailed maps.

It's in early alpha still and they honestly pick up many things from the community with every voice heard! I've offered advice on there myself and seen it applied in some of the dev update screenshots.

They're planning on getting a kickstarter going in the coming months.
