(Serious, I only see that haircut on American kids with guns. I've never seen it here. Ever.)

xD I've noticed that mentality in American kids, but I am not one of them.
I want to join the navy.

Also, the US has a gun culture. I remember a video or something of the sort saying that 85% or so Americans per 100 people in a community own guns. You'd be surprised how many of these wannabe marines haven't shot a gun, let alone own one.

Navy mentality: Overly technological/logical

Marine mentality: Fucking, psychotic. These guys will do anything, and be nuts while doing it (Before someone says I'm insulting Marines, I got this from a guy who used to be a LCpl in the USMC as a Designated Marksman). Basically they're badasses and they know it.

Marines? Yes they will do anything. However, every marine is a standard riflemen and expert shot...they make everyone take the rifle course in basic which is weeks 7 and 8.

navy has an easy ass basic. the ist to get into mcrd parris island is 2 pullups, 1.5 mile run, and 35 situps. The navy test to get out I believe is 1.5 miles. xD

US Army requirements are doing a 2 mile run in 16:30 min, doing 35 push-ups and 47 sit-ups. (This is for people entering from 17-20 years old)

I could make some rant (speaking from personal experience) about how this whole American "Army vs. Marines" thing "lolz army suks" crap is way over blown, but I'll can it.
