One of my bigger gripes with NW is seeing a decent sized line of about 30-40 guys and seeing 7 different wildly different units in it. Breaks the immersion, IMO.
I'm sure there's some other Prussian units down under.
That's mostly in small-scaled international events. It's the problem with having such different uniforms.
Though, I must say, it's absolutely terrific to go to a big event where all regiments are in their own lines and formations. Looks absolutely awesome, and gives some nice experiences.
"He, those guys left...they are blue...Must be French!"
"Could be Dutch"
"Nah, Dutch don't wear blue pants, I'm telling you, it's French light infantry"
"But their plumes are white...Are there any French lighties with white plumes?"
etc etc.
Also, an ACW rebel re-enactor telling Napoleonics they have bad uniformity is just...wrong
