I dunno, I guess UKTV isn't an international channel, name gives that away I guess. If the episode is ever uploaded to YouTube I'll share it.

No idea if you guys outside of the Uk can see this but it's an hour long epissode of a documentary series looking at reenactment, this episode was filmed mainly at Hunton court last year and features the 21eme a lot, with our Adjutant Chris Durkin making a great contribution.

Bit of drama at around 50 minutes, I think Durkin carried himself out superbly.
"I'll Bloody Hit him next time" Good old Mr Parker showing himself in the greatest light on national tv
"[15th] Colonel Cenkris: A lazy officer who didn`t contribute anything to the success of his detatchment or the regiment disposed of after displaying incredible disloyalty and attitute problems towards fellow officers"
Aww thanks Cenkris for those kind words

Lol, Durkin would give him a Lancastrian one bang xD

Honestly though, wasn't like Durkin used any offensive or vulgar language, just a bit straight forward when Parker said "We don't do that" when told he'd have to break!

Apparently at New Orleans Parker didn't forget the ladders so the 44th wouldn't have to go back... what a knob

I'm guessing they were supposed to forget the ladders as part of a scenario?

At the actual battle of NO the 44th basically lost the battle for the british by forgetting the ladders to assault the 'Murican position

Lol, seems typical of Parker. I think he doesn't like losing.

Agreed! He's not the only person featured in the programme who I wouldn't mind smacking though...

I don't think I've seen a more biased video.

Video from Ickworth, good angle, shockingly the redcoats took casualties this year, although they got back up when the big line of redcoats marched over them again :(

At 5:30 you can see the 21e charge the highlanders in the rear after they drove the 69e Voltiguers back :D

Dou the WW2 guys have to clean up the battlefield after they're done? I mean, all the shells...
Probably one of the very few old-timers here who hasn't been a regimental leader.

Yes, at some events the re-enactors are expected to help clean up afterwards. Also goes for powder-events.
