Wish I had a video of Trent playing the accordion. May have to record something at FIG I.
Humans are extremely complicated creatures. Death uncomplicates them to a frightening degree...

Posting this here, because I would like your opinions of this:

Also, I got back from my reenactment this weekend, and there are going to be loads of pictures and videos being thrown up by the even host Bob Collings from the Collings Foundation in Stow, Massachusetts. Can't wait to share, because I had some pretty epic deaths in three of the four battles.

A shame it's a youtube series, we really need more war movies from the German perspective. I'm getting kinda sick of all those standard ''All germans are evil Nazis'' war movies.

that's what this movie-series is going to work... Not all Germans, including some SS gemeiner, were die-hard fascist supporting Nazis.

Agreed on the part there should be more German perspective.
Only thing I ever saw it described was in a Dutch book covering the story of  a son of a Dutch Nazi.

Very nice video, though.
Probably one of the very few old-timers here who hasn't been a regimental leader.

I think I read the exact same book a few years ago.

Oorlog Zonder Vrienden by Evert Hartman?
Pretty much a must read for everyone in the NL, I'd say.

But for the German Television series there are not a lot of movies from the German perspective. I hope this is good, so maybe it is actually worth watching.
The German Television series were good, but still had too many elemts of "Germans are bad Nazis".
