dueling is just practice for GFs at this stage, they dont really matter for anything, hell peoples dueling ability doesn't even define how good they are as a player, i think just leave it because realistically there's no use for it

Love duels and I think if you can manage to limit roundtime and if nobody dies the guy who stabs the most / does more to kill the enemy wins it could be nice

I like this idea and even I would have been more interested in a duel tournament with similar rules like this, 30 seconds maybe is not enough but 1 minute per duel would be nice and ofc u would need a referee or something to watch the duels if u wanna use more rules or a way to rate a round just like in boxing idk anyways sounds gud

NW duelling as a concept doesnt rly work like herishey said - BUT its mainly because of 2 directions.

Even on native it can be boring but the 4 directions means there is greater room for error after duelling for such a long time. Look at this for example, the players are still both playing quite safe.



NW duels will never be fixed just stick to gfing, everyone knows duels mean nearly nothing

i mean stun chambers are easy to block after a lot of practise with them (i know how to do it but cant cos im dogshit). The point is theres very little to do to get past a block as feints are completely useless. It is quite simple for an NW player to s key and block for an hour vs all kinds of feints - native its also doable but MUCH harder.

2 directions just dont work for duelling its as simple as that. Lost cause
