The Netherlands has pretty strict rules and there are enough medieval 'knights' who take things too far. I dare say that it's more of a period-problem then a nation-problem, although I shouldn't speak about a period I know little about, historical or re-enact-wise.

this sint re-enactment, this is a medieval fight-club, different things, fightclubs tend to be wayyy more farby.

It isn't medieval re-enactment in "Russia or any of dem countries" if you don't get to punch people and all that stuff in the videos, which creates an interesting contrast with, say, Napoleonic re-enactors, their complete opposite.
